Bouchéstraße 12/Halle 20, 12435, Berlin, Germany
MotionLab.Berlin occupies Halle 20 on Bouchéstraße 12 in Treptow-Köpenick, one of Berlin's most active districts for industrial-era repurposing and new-economy manufacturing. The surrounding Bouchéstraße site sits within a cluster of converted factory halls, giving the area a distinctly workshop-meets-startup character that suits hardware-focused teams. The nearby Spree riverfront and Treptower Park add a green counterpoint to the industrial surroundings, making the area popular for lunchtime walks. The district is well served by S-Bahn connections linking the area to central Berlin, with Treptower Park and Schöneweide stations providing onward access across the city. A mix of independent cafés, lunch spots, and supply stores has grown around the broader Treptow innovation corridor, supporting the working population that has moved into the area's repurposed industrial estates over the past decade.
Navigating to Motion.Lab for the first time can be a bit of a quest, but we promise the journey is worth it! Tucked away in an industrial courtyard, here's how to find us: Start by entering through the main gate of the industrial yard.
Make an immediate left after entering.
Head towards the farthest hall you see in front of you.
When you reach the hall, look for the entrance on your right side.
Once inside, you'll find yourself on the ground floor, with the front desk conveniently located on your left.

Review summary
Across 114 detailed Google reviews, MotionLab.Berlin comes through as a maker-focused coworking and fabrication space in Berlin where hardware builders, startups, and tinkerers share a close-knit working environment. Members describe a genuine sense of community as the defining quality of the space — reviewers consistently use phrases like "ideal für Ideenaustausch," pointing to an atmosphere where knowledge flows naturally between neighbours, and several liken the feeling to a second home. The equipment offering draws repeated praise, with members highlighting an extensive selection of prototyping machines — 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC tools among them — described as modern and well organised. Staff are widely noted as friendly and attentive, adding to an atmosphere that feels considered rather than transactional. Smaller gatherings and workshops are well served here; reviewers call it a good location for intimate events, and the MakerGarages are singled out as well-suited for focused individual work. Members also appreciate being able to reach for a coffee, tea, or even a beer during the working day, which reinforces the relaxed but productive tone throughout. There are a few honest gaps worth noting. Accessibility attracts more negative signals than positive ones, with several members finding the location or transport connections less convenient than they would like, and parking experiences appear inconsistent despite one positive mention. A small number of reviewers also flag occasional friction with staff or equipment availability, suggesting these areas, while generally strong, are not uniformly seamless.
Members most consistently praise Community, Equipment, and Staff & service. The most-raised point to know about is Step-free access.
