MotionLab.Berlin at Bouchéstraße 12, Halle 20 is Europe's largest prototyping space and Germany's leading hardware accelerator — a 4,150 m² hard-tech innovation hub where hardware startups, engineers, and makers turn ideas into physical products. The facility spans two halls and houses high-tech fabrication workshops covering 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC machining, and metal welding alongside dedicated coworking desks, private offices, and maker garages. Day passes provide flexible access to the shared workspace, while private offices cater to early-stage hardware companies needing a permanent base inside the ecosystem. Amenities include free coffee, tea, and water, a community kitchen, phone booths, and pet-friendly workspaces. Regular community events and workshops — from electronics lab introductions to welding clinics — keep the programming calendar active throughout the year. The space is purpose-built for technically minded founders and teams who need both desk space and industrial fabrication capability under one roof.
Bouchéstraße 12/Halle 20, 12435, Berlin
MotionLab.Berlin occupies Halle 20 on Bouchéstraße 12 in Treptow-Köpenick, one of Berlin's most active districts for industrial-era repurposing and new-economy manufacturing. The surrounding Bouchéstraße site sits within a cluster of converted factory halls, giving the area a distinctly workshop-meets-startup character that suits hardware-focused teams. The nearby Spree riverfront and Treptower Park add a green counterpoint to the industrial surroundings, making the area popular for lunchtime walks. The district is well served by S-Bahn connections linking the area to central Berlin, with Treptower Park and Schöneweide stations providing onward access across the city. A mix of independent cafés, lunch spots, and supply stores has grown around the broader Treptow innovation corridor, supporting the working population that has moved into the area's repurposed industrial estates over the past decade.
Navigating to Motion.Lab for the first time can be a bit of a quest, but we promise the journey is worth it! Tucked away in an industrial courtyard, here's how to find us: Start by entering through the main gate of the industrial yard.
Make an immediate left after entering.
Head towards the farthest hall you see in front of you.
When you reach the hall, look for the entrance on your right side.
Once inside, you'll find yourself on the ground floor, with the front desk conveniently located on your left.
