CIC Berlin occupies 13,000 m² of restored industrial workspace across five distinct floors of the historic L65 building on Lohmühlenstraße 65 — a campus scaled for startups, small teams, enterprise satellites, and agencies with the runway to grow. The space is zoned to support focused work and spontaneous collaboration alike: dual inner courtyards framed by original brick walls invite outdoor meetings, while an on-site cinema and professional media studio handle product launches and content shoots without leaving the building. Equipment across the campus is enterprise-grade, and the events calendar runs deep — from expert-led workshops and talks to the flagship Venture Café Thursday Gathering, which draws 450+ founders, investors, and researchers every week. Twenty-four-hour keycard access, daily cleaning, phone booths, bike storage, and a Global Passport granting entry to CIC campuses across North America, Europe, and Asia round out the offer. A free guided tour of L65 is available on request at cic.com/tour/berlin.

Lohmühlenstraße 65, 12435, Berlin, Germany
CIC Berlin sits in a compelling in-between zone — the border of Alt-Treptow and Kreuzberg — that gives it unusually good access to both Berlin's startup corridor and one of its most characterful residential neighbourhoods. Görlitzer Park is a short walk north, and the Landwehrkanal towpath runs nearby for a lunchtime reset. Cross the bridge and you hit the Schlesisches Tor café strip, which makes pre- or post-work coffee a two-minute detour. For transit, the U1 Schlesisches Tor U-Bahn station is roughly ten minutes on foot; Treptower Park S-Bahn is about fifteen minutes away; and bus 194 stops directly outside the building. Cyclists are well served by the canal routes and the campus's own bike storage.
The building entrance is on Lohmühlenstraße 65; check in at the CIC reception inside the main hall to receive your day badge or member access. The campus is fully step-free with lifts to all five floors. The closest U-Bahn is Schlesisches Tor (10-minute walk via the bridge), the closest S-Bahn is Treptower Park (15 minutes), and bus 194 stops directly outside the building. Secure indoor bike storage is included; car parking is not available on site, but street parking exists nearby — check signage for time limits.

Review summary
Across 29 detailed Google reviews, CIC Berlin comes across as a well-equipped, professionally run coworking space in a convenient Berlin location, drawing members who are building companies and looking for meaningful professional connections. The most consistent praise centres on the physical infrastructure. Members repeatedly highlight the quality of the equipment, calling out details such as excellent ventilation and security cameras as markers of a thoughtfully maintained environment. Private phone booths with individually adjustable lighting and ventilation, spacious conference facilities on the upper floor, and an overall sense of room to breathe round out what reviewers describe as a workspace genuinely set up for focused, professional work. The community and events programme emerge as clear differentiators. Members describe the space as "an ideal place to build a company and make connections," and the regularly scheduled events — including formats like Run and Rave — are credited with generating a social fabric that goes beyond desk-sharing. Staff, including named members of the business development team, are singled out as notably helpful, and the complimentary coffee, tea, and muesli add a small but frequently mentioned daily comfort. Where members are more measured is around accessibility. Several reviewers flag an above-average number of locked internal doors, which some find disruptive to movement through the building. The atmosphere draws a broadly positive reading but surfaces the occasional note of reservation, suggesting the feel of the space may not suit every working style.
Members most consistently praise Equipment, On-site events, and Community. The most-raised point to know about is Step-free access.
