CIC Berlin sits in a compelling in-between zone — the border of Alt-Treptow and Kreuzberg — that gives it unusually good access to both Berlin's startup corridor and one of its most characterful residential neighbourhoods. Görlitzer Park is a short walk north, and the Landwehrkanal towpath runs nearby for a lunchtime reset. Cross the bridge and you hit the Schlesisches Tor café strip, which makes pre- or post-work coffee a two-minute detour. For transit, the U1 Schlesisches Tor U-Bahn station is roughly ten minutes on foot; Treptower Park S-Bahn is about fifteen minutes away; and bus 194 stops directly outside the building. Cyclists are well served by the canal routes and the campus's own bike storage.
The building entrance is on Lohmühlenstraße 65; check in at the CIC reception inside the main hall to receive your day badge or member access. The campus is fully step-free with lifts to all five floors. The closest U-Bahn is Schlesisches Tor (10-minute walk via the bridge), the closest S-Bahn is Treptower Park (15 minutes), and bus 194 stops directly outside the building. Secure indoor bike storage is included; car parking is not available on site, but street parking exists nearby — check signage for time limits.

Letzte Woche waren die Werkstatt und der Besprechungsraum des SIB-Instituts im CIC-Gebäude geöffnet und konnten mit einer CIC-Karte kurzfristig genutzt werden. Diese Woche waren die Türen zum Hauptsaal (wo sich die Computer und der Besprechungsbereich befinden) jedoch verschlossen, und der Zugang ist offenbar auch mit einer CIC-Karte nicht mehr möglich. Lediglich der Toilettenbereich war zugänglich. Anscheinend ist der Raum derzeit ausschließlich für das SIB reserviert. Bitte klären Sie die Nutzungsbedingungen, um Missverständnisse zu vermeiden.
