Perched inside Lisbon's Cruise Terminal on the Tagus waterfront, Heden Workspaces - Santa Apolónia earns its reputation through specifics: two full walls of floor-to-ceiling glass flood the interior with natural light, a sun-drenched terrace frames uninterrupted river and city views, and the deliberately limited number of seats keeps the atmosphere calm rather than chaotic. This is Portugal's first B-Corp certified coworking company — sustainability isn't a marketing note here, it's baked into every operational decision. The community is intentionally small, which means you're more likely to remember a face than lose one in a crowd. Members enjoy 24/7 keycard access, and the open auditorium accommodates workshops and events for up to 75 people. Staff are consistently praised by name — Aline and the team set a tone of genuine warmth. Whether you're a Lisbon-based professional seeking a quieter alternative to larger city-centre spaces, or a digital nomad catching an evening train to Porto, Heden makes the workday feel considered.
Rua do Jardim do Tabaco, 1100-651, Lisbon, Portugal
Heden Santa Apolónia sits on Rua do Jardim do Tabaco along the Tagus waterfront, housed within Edifício NE — the distinctive green-facade building of the Lisbon Cruise Terminal. Santa Apolónia train and metro station is a five-minute walk east, connecting the space directly to the rest of Lisbon and onward rail to Porto and the Algarve. The waterfront promenade stretches in both directions, offering an easy lunchtime walk along the river. Alfama, Lisbon's oldest and most storied district, begins immediately to the west — its hillside streets, tascas, and miradouros are within easy reach on foot. The surrounding area blends working port infrastructure with a quieter, residential-edged waterfront character that feels markedly different from the bustle of Baixa or Chiado, making it a genuinely calming place to base a working day.
The space is located on the 1st floor of Edifício NE (Terminal de Cruzeiros de Lisboa / Lisbon Cruise Terminal), on Rua do Jardim do Tabaco, 1100-651 Lisbon. Santa Apolónia train and metro station is approximately a 5-minute walk away. Head to the Cruise Terminal building with the green facade on the Tagus waterfront and take the stairs or lift to the 1st floor.

I’m in Lisbon for a month and worked at The Heden Cowork Space in Santa Apolónia. It’s absolutely beautiful—an excellent place to work while away from my office. Aline and the rest of the staff were incredibly welcoming and kind, and they made me feel right at home. The balcony overlooking the port is stunning, and I loved being able to enjoy the view while getting work done. I look forward to using this coworking space again when I return to Lisbon.

Beautiful and modern coworking space, perfectly located near the Santa Apolonia station, so I remote-worked here for a full day, could store my lugguage safely with them when walking around for lunch, then took my evening train to Porto. Very friendly and helpful service!!! I saw a comment about insufficient private and noise-cancelled spaces to call, I was lucky that I could use the call booth when I needed it, but indeed would be nice if Heden could install more "call booths" or open up existing enclosed spaces for this purpose. But overall great experience and happy to visit again 😚

The coworking space is absolutely beautiful. Located right on the harbor, it offers breathtaking water views from its floor-to-ceiling windows and is filled with natural light. The interior is decorated with lovely palm plants, and there's a long balcony that's perfect for a break. The whole space is meticulously clean. Also, Aline at the reception is very friendly and helpful. However, there are two key things to consider before you go: There is only one proper soundproof booth for calls. The other dedicated call areas are simply high desks with dividers, which offer minimal privacy and don't block out noise. Furthermore, the flex desks are located in the shared cafeteria area, and during the lunch break, it can get very loud. One particular company doesn't seem to have a sense of sharing a common space—their employees don't just talk, they scream. Even with headphones, it's difficult to block out their conversations. While other companies are respectful of the shared environment and talk normally during the lunch break, the noise from this one group can be very disruptive if you are looking for a quiet place to work.

I really enjoyed the size and amenities of this coworking space—it’s perfect for digital nomads. My only issue was the noise from the kitchen and lunch area. It gets very loud during peak lunch hours since the hot desks are right next to it.

Heden is the best coworking space I have ever worked in! The place is absolutely spectacular, with an abundance of natural light (two very long walls are literally made of glass!), a very big terrace with amazing views of the river (it must be literally like 50 meters from the shore), big tables, super comfortable chairs, and a fantastic open kitchen… even the volume of the background music is perfect! The best part is the staff. They are all super super friendly! Aline is such a nice and friendly human being!! She makes us all feel at home! Also Dania and Joanna, and Cloe who used to work there as well! And the others whose names I don't remember. Thank you Aline and all the fantastic team!! I remember my first day there—I freaked out! I once read a review saying that if you’re in Lisbon and need a place to work, you’re lucky to find Heden. Well, I feel the same way! I feel very fortunate to be able to work there! 😊 I am very grateful that I found Heden and met their entire team! I can recommend it 200%! Without any doubt, it’s the best coworking space in Lisbon! Jens :)
