The offices measure 12 to 34 m², and most of them look straight at the Elbphilharmonie. BAZE calls its concept 'premium economy': the essentials of a good office are done to a high standard and everything else is left out, so ergonomic chairs, high-speed internet, cleaning, utilities, filtered water and a monthly allowance of free meeting-room time are all included. The Columbushaus marks the gateway to the HafenCity, directly opposite Baumwall and the Elbphilharmonie. Baumwall (Elbphilharmonie) U-Bahn station on the U3 is about two minutes on foot and buses stop right outside the building; from there it is two minutes by train to Rathaus and four to the main station. The Westfield shopping centre, the city centre and the popular Portugiesenviertel, known for its restaurants, are all within a few minutes' walk. For a short break, a coffee on the redesigned harbour promenade with a view of the City-Yachthafen marina or at the Elbphilharmonie is just a few steps away, and a bakery and several places to eat are in the building itself.
