YURP Coworking Space is a shared office in the former Baumgartner Grand Bio-Theater, a cinema that ran from 1911 to 1966, at Hütteldorfer Straße 253a in Penzing, Vienna's 14th district. For more than ten years, entrepreneurs from many fields have shared the old auditorium as an open-plan office for start-ups, small businesses and sole traders. You work at creative desk islands in the high cinema hall, meet in the meeting room in the former projection room or up on the historic wooden balconies, and take breaks in the shared kitchen with a Jura coffee machine, the dining room or the small front garden. The price is a flat monthly rent: a fixed desk costs €235 a month excluding VAT and includes desk, office chair, shelf, internet, cleaning, kitchen, meeting room, heating and electricity. For colleagues who don't need their own desk you can add a floater seat for €95, and your space can grow as your company grows. Tenants have access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Tram 49 stops in front of the building and there is a public garage opposite. The site says places are currently available again.

YURP sits on Hütteldorfer Straße in Baumgarten, part of Penzing in the west of Vienna, a residential area of apartment blocks, small shops and bakeries along one of the long arterial roads out of the city. Tram 49 stops right outside and runs along Hütteldorfer Straße towards the U6 at Burggasse-Stadthalle and on to Volkstheater by the Ring. Hütteldorf station with the U4, the S-Bahn and regional trains is about 1.7 kilometres to the west. Green space is close: the Baumgartner Casino Park is under a kilometre away, and the Baumgartner Höhe with Otto Wagner's Steinhof church and the edge of the Wienerwald is a short ride north. A public WIPARK garage is directly opposite the building.
