überlab is the coworking floor of Serviceplan Group's House of Communication in Berlin. Around 60 desks are spread across the ground and second floors, every one of them height-adjustable and paired with a proper task chair and a lockable locker. Ten private offices between 10 and 70 m² sit alongside them for teams that want a door to close. Five air-conditioned conference rooms run from an 18 m² room for three people up to a combined 120 m² space seating 50 to 80, each with a large touchscreen and video-call camera, bookable by the hour or the day through an app. A 115 m² worklab on the ground floor and a rooftop floor with an 80 m² terrace take workshops and larger gatherings. Members use the same services as the agency teams in the building: a barista-run espresso bar at reception, staffed front desk handling visitors and parcels, focus areas and phone boxes, and catering on request.

The building sits in Berlin-Mitte, a few streets north of the Spree and directly beside Monbijoupark, the green strip that runs along the river opposite Museum Island. The Bode-Museum is a two-minute walk from the door, and the rest of the museum complex follows along the water. Food is dense here rather than scarce. Independent cafés and bistros line the surrounding streets, with petit bijou and L'oui Torcafé within a minute or two and the Bode-Museum café just across the park. Oranienburger Straße and the Hackescher Markt quarter, five to eight minutes east, add restaurants, bars and shops. Transport is the strong point. Oranienburger Straße S-Bahn is under 200 metres away, while Oranienburger Tor on the U6 and the major interchange at Friedrichstraße are both inside a ten-minute walk, putting the government quarter, Alexanderplatz and Hauptbahnhof a few stops out.
Enter through the main reception at Ziegelstraße 16, which is staffed during opening hours and signs day guests in. Coworking desks sit on the ground floor and the second floor. Conference rooms are reserved in advance through the operator's booking app, and reception takes deliveries and parcels for members. The closest station is Oranienburger Straße (S1, S2, S25, S26), roughly a two-minute walk. Oranienburger Tor on the U6 and the S- and U-Bahn interchange at Friedrichstraße are each about six minutes on foot.
