Hub Social Barcelona is a cooperative workspace for social-sector organisations, researchers, activists and professionals working for equity, social justice and social transformation. It is run by the Fundació Equitat.org, which restored the former Lluís Campins flour factory from 1873 to house it, and the organisations that use it pay what covers the running costs. The bright, open-plan floors keep the original brick walls and timber ceilings and hold more than 130 workstations, with phone booths, meeting rooms, a shared kitchen, a patio, individual lockers, bike and scooter parking, air conditioning and accessible spaces. Coworking members get 24/7 access, cable and Wi-Fi, a multifunction printer, ergonomic chairs, coffee and fruit. A fixed desk costs €408 a month with storage and five hours of meeting rooms, a hybrid desk for two days a week €310 a month, a team room one morning a week €826 a month and a day pass €25; social-sector entities pay half (€204, €155 and €413 a month) and €15 a day or €150 for ten days. Flexible arrangements, for example afternoons or weekends only, are available on request. The hub also hosts more than 300 events a year in rooms for 12 to 110 people and a 228 m² hall that opens onto the patio.
Enjoy the flexibility of a workspace that's open around the clock, catering to your unique work schedule.
Lots of networking events are taking place at this workspace.
This workspace is easy to reach via a variety of public transport connections.

Review summary
Across 14 detailed Google reviews, Hub Social Barcelona comes across less as a day-to-day coworking space and more as a central meeting point for events, debates and social-impact groups. Events dominate what people write about. Reviewers call it “an excellent venue for events” and a great space for workshops and debates, and mention a dedicated room for presentations, plus networking events and community initiatives that feel designed with intention. One reviewer describes it as a place that always has debates and meetings on, often with groups committed to social change, and another simply calls it a magnificent place to meet in good company. As a space, it earns praise for an industrial-style yet cosy, modern feel, smart modular design and very good, practical facilities, with a variety of rooms and an interior terrace. Reviewers also value how central it is, describing it as a social workspace in the heart of Barcelona. The honest caveat is that the reviews say very little about working here day to day: nobody comments on Wi-Fi, quiet, desks or the coworking community as such. The only criticism concerns the food service, where one guest felt a member of the service staff lectured them at the table and that a dish was served without mentioning it contained spicy pickles.
Members most consistently praise On-site events, Atmosphere, and Equipment.

I ordered a sandwich at the cafeteria. It looked like it was ham and cheese, and at no point did they specify that it had spicy pickles and spicy mustard. 🌶️ To my surprise, I can't eat spicy food, and it ruined my workday. I went and left it on the counter, saying I couldn't eat it. The waitress came to the table and started lecturing me, claiming I'd been rude, which I hadn't been at all. I simply told her, "Here, I can't eat it."
