Tintagel House has a past worth talking about — the former Metropolitan Police HQ on the Albert Embankment, now reimagined by Universal Design Studio as one of London's most distinctive riverside workspaces. The transformation is thorough: focus booths and a buzzy bar sit alongside lounge areas and varied work settings across 11 floors, while three alfresco spaces — a rooftop terrace, a ground-level garden, and a top-floor balcony — deliver panoramic views over Chelsea and Westminster. Active commuters are well served with an on-site gym, showers, and changing rooms. Reception is staffed and welcoming, 24/7 access keeps your schedule flexible, and high-speed Wi-Fi is a given. Membership opens the door to 60+ Fora workspaces across London, the UK, and Germany on flexible terms from three months — serious reach without the rigid lease. Professional and buzzy in equal measure, Fora Tintagel House rewards those who want a workspace with genuine character.
92 Albert Embankment, SE1 7TY, London, United Kingdom
Fora Tintagel House sits at 92 Albert Embankment in SE1, directly on the Thames between Vauxhall and Lambeth. The building neighbours MI6 HQ and occupies one of London's more quietly dramatic riverside stretches, with views across to Chelsea and Westminster. Vauxhall station — serving both the Victoria line and National Rail — is a six-minute walk, making connections north, south, and out of London straightforward. Pimlico station (Victoria line) is around 15 minutes on foot for an alternative route. The South Bank's cultural venues, restaurants, and cycling routes are easily reachable on foot or by bike, and Waterloo is within comfortable walking or cycling distance. Parking is available approximately 800m away with advance notice — call the Fora team to arrange. The surrounding riverside path makes for a genuinely good commute on two wheels, and the area's mix of government, creative, and tech neighbours gives the stretch an energy that's noticeably different from more generic office districts.
Located at 92 Albert Embankment, London SE1 7TY. The building is accessible via its main entrance, which is wheelchair accessible throughout. Nearest stations: Vauxhall (6 minutes' walk) and Pimlico (15 minutes' walk). Parking is available approximately 800m away — call the team for details. On-site support is available Monday to Friday, 08:30–18:00. Contact General Manager Paige Marriage on +44 (0)203 966 1537 for access or on-site queries.

It's ok for meetings. The room has a large TV and conference phone see set up for Zoom but we wanted to use Teams. Despite getting HTML for the staff it was not possible to connect a laptop to the TV.

The staff make this place welcoming and a good place to work. There’s plenty on offer for those working here, such as a gym, showers, filtered water, tea & coffee facilities, a rooftop, and a bar area. The coffee shop is a little overpriced for some items, such as water at £1.30 a bottle! I like the atmosphere and there are various seating arrangements for meeting or solo working.

Friendly young reception staff who are attentive and efficient. Waiting area is clean, comfortable and stocked with magazines and sweeties to ease the wait time. Internal coffee shop near reception and refreshment stations dotted around the building. Unisex toilets can lead to a surprising encounter if you are not alive to what is possible. Rooms are generally a good size although there is the odd cupboard with a shelf, plug outlets and two chairs squeezed in.

It's a good co-working space, variety of spaces, clean (not the members bar area anyways), there's free coffee and tea. Usually cold mostly and sometimes their receptionist tend to forget your request (you've to keep following up). But I guess it's worth the money overall.

July 2019: Update. Would say 2.5 if I could. Pros: • The view is great! • The temperature regulation is a blessing (when it works) • New coffee machine on first floor • Some of the staff are doing a good job at making it all work • The interior is modern and pleasant • Unisex toilets. Nice and modern Cons: • First floor windows don't open • Aircon was down for about a month. Had a terrible drama getting the management to take it serious as we hit 29 degrees in our office. Thank goodness it didn't happen when there was a heat wave! We had very low oxygen levels and we couldn't open the windows. The management was being all political and apologizing but nothing was really happening. ”Junior” management members of staff helped to minimise the problem. • The gym plays really loud music and drops weights that makes the building shake. Complained multiple times about the gym noise. It's been almost a year and it has only now gotten a bit better. • There are never glasses or cups left first floor after lunch. This might be because people with access to the showers on first floor grabs a cup of coffee on their way to the floor where they work. • First floor often runs out of milk and coffee beans on Friday afternoons.
