The Global Gate, a complex of three gate-shaped office buildings, stands on Grafenberger Allee in Flingern-Nord. Tram 709 runs from the main station to the Schlüterstraße/Arbeitsagentur stop right opposite the entrance, so you are at the Hauptbahnhof in under 20 minutes, and Düsseldorf Airport is about 20 minutes away by train or car. Drivers come in via the A3, A52 or A46 motorways, and a public car park in the cul-de-sac at Grafenberger Allee 277–287, next to the BMW branch, is a three-minute walk from the door. The trade fair grounds are quickly reached too, and the ecos team is happy to recommend hotels and restaurants in the area.

The four rooms are charged per started hour: Meeting room 4 for up to four people costs €25 an hour or €145 a day, Conference room III for up to six €30 or €175, Conference room II for up to eleven €34 or €185 and Conference room I for up to 20 people €40 or €270, all net of VAT. Use after 17:30 and at weekends is possible by arrangement with a 40% surcharge per hour.

An interesting place, but personally, I'm not too keen on it. Technically functional, but lacking soul. But it's meant for work, after all 🤣 What's definitely missing on sunny days, though, is building cooling or air conditioning. The rooms on the sunny side get incredibly hot very quickly 😥
