CoMón is a small shared workspace in a former factory in Barcelona's Poblenou, and it deliberately keeps a small, family-style format. The desks are shared by people from different professions – architects, designers, urban planners and editors among them – and the space is bright, quiet and pleasant to work in. The operator's photos show a large open work area under exposed timber beams, with slender columns, tall arched windows in wooden frames, painted plank floors and plenty of plants between the desks. CoMón rents fixed desks for long stays, with a minimum of three months, at €200 a month plus VAT. Besides the work area there is a common space to relax and a meeting room.
