Bcombinator is a Barcelona startup accelerator and investor that also runs a coworking hub open to anyone, in Poblenou's 22@ district and two minutes from the beach. The accelerator backs early-stage companies with hands-on mentoring and follow-on investment of up to €500,000 and has more than 80 startups in its portfolio, so members work alongside founders, investors and mentors and can join its investment events and startup workshops. The renovated space mixes flex zones, rows of shared desks, glass-walled private offices, meeting rooms with Chromecast, call boxes, a lounge and a rooftop terrace. The Daily Pack costs €15 for a day (Monday to Friday, 9:00–21:00, with a drink included). Regular plans cost €100 plus VAT for a desk three days a week, €150 for a hot desk and €200 for a fixed desk that includes a tax address, and private offices start at €400 plus VAT. Plan members can come in around the clock from Monday to Thursday and until 23:00 on Friday, with two to five meeting-room hours a week included in the desk plans. Coffee and water are free, members get a gym discount, reception takes in parcels, and an event lounge for up to 60 people hosts presentations, workshops and networking.

I have had a private office at Bcombinator for a month and absolutely loving it. The facilities are new common very clean and I have everything I need to be productive. The team is extremely nice and helpful. Other coworkers on my floor are kind, respectful and friendly. I'm very happy here and plan to stay for the long term. Plus, they let me bring my pup to the office. What not to like?

I'm talking about the startup accelerator program, not the coworking space. You submit a form that takes a good amount of time, and they don't even respond about your project. Then you call to ask, and they just tell you it's not a good fit, and that's it. I find them very unprofessional, and if I have this feeling without even working with them, imagine what it's like when you're part of their programs…😵💫
