AMBIT BCN HUB is the Barcelona space of AMBIT, the cluster of companies in the habitat sector, dedicated to innovation, creativity and training. It occupies the mezzanine of a late-19th-century modernist building on Rambla de Catalunya, restored with original Nolla mosaic floors, high ceilings and Catalan vaults and fitted out as a post-industrial loft with premium design furniture, bright rooms and good acoustics; other architecture professionals work in the same building. The members-only coworking area has 22 fixed desks at a single price of €250 a month plus VAT, covering the desk, Wi-Fi, cleaning, a locker, hot and cold drinking water and capsule coffee, plus the dining area, kitchenette, terrace, four video-call pods and an internal meeting room. Places are allocated by application, with priority for young companies serving the habitat sector, independent architects, interior and product designers, and staff of AMBIT member companies. The cluster runs talks and workshops in the hub, and outside groups can hire a meeting room for eight and a conference room for 40. Reception is staffed and the space is fully accessible.
