Surroundings
Climate Lab is located at 45 Spittelauer Lände, directly beside the Spittelau transit hub — one of Vienna's best-connected interchange points, served by U-Bahn lines U4 and U6 as well as several tram and bus routes. Getting here without a car is straightforward from most parts of the city. The surrounding Alsergrund and 9th district area blends residential calm with institutional energy — the nearby Allgemeines Krankenhaus (AUK) campus and several research institutions keep the neighborhood intellectually charged. The Donaukanal is a short walk away, offering a welcome break along the waterfront, while local cafés and lunch spots along Nussdorfer Strasse and Währinger Strasse serve the midday crowd. The area is flat, walkable, and well-served by cycling infrastructure — a practical choice for members commuting by bike along the canal path.
