Opening hours are set when the location opens.
OpenOffice Bergsee sits at Nagaistrasse 3 in the centre of Bad Säckingen, a well-established town on the Hochrhein in southern Baden-Württemberg. The surrounding area reflects the town's dual identity as a heritage destination and working administrative centre: Fridolinsmünster and Trompeterschloss are within easy walking distance, and Rathaus Bad Säckingen anchors the civic quarter nearby. Regional rail connections at Bahnhof Bad Säckingen link the town to the Upper Rhine corridor — useful for commuters travelling from Freiburg, Basel, or Waldshut. The historic Holzbrücke, one of Europe's longest covered wooden bridges, provides a pedestrian crossing directly into Stein, Switzerland, making this a practical base for professionals with cross-border obligations. The Bergsee and Bergseeufer lakeside area offer a calm retreat for a midday break, while the Rheinpromenade along the Rhine gives another outdoor route away from the desk. Local amenities including shops, cafés, and Spital Bad Säckingen are all within the immediate neighbourhood.
