Indieschmiede Hamburg is an affordable coworking space set up in 2024 by the indie game studios Amberdive Interactive and Bagpack Games, in halls above a real foundry in Bahrenfeld. The two studios run it and work here themselves, and the space is open to all kinds of work – creators, developers, designers, writers, founders, students and teams; current members include game developers, a composer, a music-production studio and a boutique Eurorack synthesizer maker. The rooms have wooden floors and large windows, with desks along the walls, a lounge corner with a sofa and a big screen, a meeting table by the window and a shared kitchen with a bar counter. A shared solo desk costs from €50 per seat a month, a dedicated solo desk from €150 and dedicated team desks from €125 per seat, all excluding VAT. Fast internet over Wi-Fi and LAN, the kitchen, the meeting room and the community are included, and dedicated desks come with a mailbox.

A really cool and modern coworking studio! ✨ The atmosphere is super pleasant. You immediately feel productive and welcome. The workspaces are well-equipped, the Wi-Fi is very fast, and there are plenty of quiet spaces for focused work. I especially love the community here. The people are open and inspiring, and there are always interesting conversations. It's perfect for networking, but also if you simply want to concentrate on your own projects. Coffee, decor, vibes – everything is just right. I always enjoy coming here and can absolutely recommend it!
