Große Elbstraße 59 sits in the Holzhafen, on the stretch of Altona waterfront where old harbour buildings have given way to offices and restaurants looking straight across the river. The Fischmarkt and the Fischauktionshalle are a short walk east, and the promenade continues towards the Landungsbrücken and the Elbphilharmonie. The S-Bahn at Königstraße (S1, S2, S3) is a few minutes inland, buses 2, 111, 112 and 250 stop at Große Elbstraße and Fischauktionshalle, and the U3 at Landungsbrücken is an easy walk along the water. Drivers can use the Parkhaus Holzhafen next door.
