We believe businesses can change the world — and Casa do Impacto exists to prove it. Housed in a historic building in Lisbon's Chiado/Santos quarter, this is not a generic coworking space: it is the social entrepreneurship and innovation hub of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa, an institution with five centuries of social mission now powering a very modern revolution. Recognised three times on the Financial Times' Europe's Leading Start-up Hubs list in the 'Social Impact' category, Casa do Impacto offers impact founders a full pipeline — from furnished desks and private offices to mentorship, workshops, investment-ready challenges, and the +PLUS fund, which distributes up to €500k per year in non-repayable grants. Can't be here in person? A virtual incubation track keeps remote and nomadic entrepreneurs inside the ecosystem. With a rooftop terrace, meeting rooms, event spaces, and a reception desk staffed Monday to Friday, this is where sustainable businesses are cooked — and world-changing ideas find their home.

8 Travessa de São Pedro, 1200-432, Lisbon, Portugal
Casa do Impacto sits in the historic Chiado/Santos area of central Lisbon — a neighbourhood where 18th-century tiled facades meet independent bookshops, art galleries, and some of the city's most storied cafés. As one visitor put it, it is "a wonderful historical setting," tucked into the layered urban fabric that makes this part of Lisbon so distinctive. The nearest Metro station is Restauradores, connecting you quickly to the rest of the city; trams and buses thread through the surrounding streets, making the space accessible from virtually any corner of Lisbon. The area sits close to the city's cultural and civic heart — the Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea, the Jardim de São Pedro de Alcântara viewpoint, and the lively streets of Bairro Alto are all within easy walking distance, giving members a rich neighbourhood to step into between deep-work sessions.
The hub is located at Travessa de São Pedro, 8, 1200-432 Lisbon. A reception desk is available on-site during business hours to welcome visitors and residents. For directions, a Google Maps link is provided on the website. No specific entry code or buzzer information is published.
Casa do Impacto is a social entrepreneurship and innovation hub operated by Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa — one of Europe's oldest welfare institutions — and is the only coworking hub in Portugal recognised three times on the Financial Times' Europe's Leading Start-up Hubs list in the 'Social Impact' category. Beyond desks and offices, it offers a full incubation-to-acceleration pipeline: mentorship, workshops, open challenges, and access to the +PLUS fund.

You know who I am

Hello, I was in an internship at Class of Wonders, The CEO (Francisco) disrespected me, I don't recomend doing an internship there. Please find somewhere better to do the internship, there's people that will actually respect your work and you as a person. What happened was, I'm not a talkative person, I'm reserved. I was working like i normally did and then he called me to a room to talk to me privately (Atleast he had that decency) and said i was rude and i didn't had the basic steps of communication. I don't know what I did to upset him so i was confused and asked why, which he answered with "I'm not your father and we don't do babysitting" Now let me ask you, who was the rude person here? Obviously him with that answer. Have a good day and thank you.
