⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Warning: Acute danger of chronic happiness! If you're looking for a place to wallow in self-pity, this is definitely the wrong place. I'm still amazed at how so much warmth and friendliness can be packed into one project! The room & the view: My apartment was so clean, I could have eaten off the floor (but I did opt for the table, after all, good manners). But the real boss is the workspace. When you're sitting up there working, you look out at this view and completely forget that you were supposed to be writing emails. 10/10 for the view, 0/10 for concentration – it's just too beautiful! The heart and soul of the place (The legend: Sissi): Let's get down to brass tacks: Sissi isn't just the "mom" of the place, she's a walking ray of sunshine. The most amazing woman Rügen (and probably the rest of the world) has ever seen! The tarte flambée: An absolute revelation. Vegan check: Sissi has a heart for everyone. Even if you don't eat meat, you'll be so spoiled with culinary delights here that you almost forget you're vegan. Vegans are definitely not left out here – on the contrary, it's a feast! Dog-friendliness: My four-legged friend was also part of the group. Often, you're treated like a walking flea taxi when you have a dog, but here? Dogs are absolutely welcome! My dog is seriously considering relocating here permanently and simply sending me home. Conclusion: Great place, great view, fantastic food, and the world's best Sissi. Anyone who doesn't book here is missing out. I'll definitely be back – even if it's just to adopt Sissi or steal another tarte flambée! Thanks for the fantastic time! 🌊🐶🍕

An unexpected treasure trove. It's amazing to find such a pristine place on Rügen Island, where prices often exceed 100 euros. I can't spoil the details, but if you come across this spot, give it a try!

We spent New Year's Eve with our dog in one of the apartments for the third time. The price per night has doubled this year, and what's offered isn't commensurate with the price. Only the apartments facing the sea are suitable for New Year's Eve, as the main road is noisy on the street side, and fireworks are set off loudly and for a long time from the houses opposite. Below is the feedback we sent to the owner after our stay, to which we unfortunately received no response. A real shame! Dear Sir/Madam, We spent New Year's Eve again in your apartment on Rügen and have now been your guests for the third time. As with our previous stays, we felt very comfortable and greatly appreciated the location (facing the sea) and the peaceful atmosphere. ``` Nevertheless, we would like to raise a few points that we have noticed again and which, in our opinion, would significantly improve the comfort of the apartment: - We do not consider the doubling of the price from €67 (in 2023 and 2024) to €137 per night justified for the "basic" furnishings provided in the apartment. - There is still no suitable storage space for clothing (e.g., a wardrobe or chest of drawers). - There is no trash can in the bathroom. - There is no radiator in the bathroom, so it was always cold. - There is also no second bedside table with a lamp. - The kettle in the kitchen should be replaced, as the lid is broken. - The kitchen equipment should be improved; for example, there is no chopping board. These points were already raised by another tenant in a public review two years ago. At that time, you replied that corresponding improvements had been made. Unfortunately, we have now discovered that these improvements have not yet been implemented, or at least not in the room we rented. We cannot understand this. With the significant price increase, the comfort level, which we previously considered perfectly adequate, should also be improved. Something else is unclear to us: We specifically requested the last room on the left by phone – it also has a chest of drawers – and were told we couldn't have it because a dog lives in the room opposite. However, during our stay, a couple with a dog were able to move in there without any problems. We don't like anonymous reviews and have taken the time to provide this important feedback. Thank you for your reply and best wishes for 2026.
