Unfortunately, I cannot say that my stay at this property felt safe. In the early hours of April 20th, between 3 AM and 4 AM, an unknown individual broke into my room. I confronted the intruder and managed to make them leave. The following morning, I immediately informed the staff and requested a review of the CCTV footage. However, I was told that the IT manager does not work on Sundays, and that the footage would be reviewed on Monday. I was assured that they would assist with the process then. Despite this promise, as of today—Thursday—there has been no meaningful update. On Monday, staff merely told me that they “saw nothing” on the footage and insisted that no intruder entered my room. But I have a clear recollection of the incident and have noted the exact time it occurred. I pressed them again to properly check the CCTV footage, but until now, no one has provided a definitive response, nor has any footage been shared with me for police reporting purposes. It has now been four days since the incident. I still do not know who the intruder was, what time they entered, or if their face was captured. No proper security measures or investigation outcomes have been shared with me. While the staff here are generally friendly and wear warm smiles, I feel it is important to share this review as the handling of this serious incident has been inadequate. Safety should be a top priority for any accommodation, and unfortunately, I feel it was not upheld in this case. I hope future guests consider this before booking.
