HUBSY République sits in the 10th arrondissement, on Rue Lucien Sampaix between Place de la République and Gare de l'Est — one of the more walkable and café-dense stretches of central Paris. Jacques Bonsergent (Métro line 5) is two minutes on foot, making it one of the most transit-accessible coworking addresses in the neighbourhood. Château d'Eau (line 4) is a short walk in the other direction, and République — served by lines 3, 5, 8, 9, and 11 — puts the space within reach of virtually every corner of the city. The Canal Saint-Martin is nearby for a lunchtime walk, and the surrounding streets are lined with independent restaurants, bakeries, and grocery shops for anything you need between sessions.

Review summary
Across 38 detailed Google reviews, HUBSY République comes across as a quiet, cafe-style workspace in one of Paris's well-connected districts, drawing freelancers and remote workers who want calm and decent coffee within easy reach of the metro. The aspect members mention most is the quality of focus the space affords — reviewers consistently describe finding "peace and quiet to work," which appears to be the core draw. Food and drinks earn nearly as much attention, with the coffee singled out as genuinely good rather than an afterthought. Pricing is broadly considered fair for what is offered, and the physical environment — described as spacious and pleasant, with comfortable seating and adequate tables — supports long working sessions. The location near the metro is noted approvingly, and a handful of members flag the availability of call boxes and meeting rooms as practical extras that lift the offer beyond a simple café arrangement. Where the space differentiates itself most clearly is in delivering a low-distraction environment at a price point that members find reasonable, without requiring a long-term commitment. The gaps are real, however, and worth noting honestly. Staff conduct is the most-mentioned concern in the review set, with more negative signals than positive ones — several members describe interactions that felt unwelcoming or abrupt. Wi-Fi speed draws criticism as well, which is a meaningful drawback for productivity-focused users. Food and drink quality and noise levels each attract a minority of critical voices, suggesting the experience can vary by visit.
Members most consistently praise Quiet & focus, Coffee & food, and Value for money. The most-raised point to know about is Staff & service.

Fair price and very quiet. Staff even let me borrow a power adapter. The latte is good too.

The place is a bit cramped but perfectly adequate. A smile would be a real plus!

Ideal place to work. Very quiet and the space is pleasant. However, I didn't find the person working there very friendly. She seemed bothered by my questions, even though it was my first time at the establishment.

I came to work in this place during a heatwave. The people at the bar were incredibly unpleasant. Frankly, if you don't like interacting with people, you should simply change careers. In short, never again.
