St. Oberholz | Zehdenicker is a café-coworking hybrid occupying a historic building at Zehdenicker Straße 1 in Berlin's Mitte district. The ground floor operates as a full-service café — barista-prepared drinks ranging from flat whites to cappuccinos, alongside freshly baked goods — while private office units in the basement provide a quieter, dedicated workspace for individuals and small teams. The building itself dates to 1868, originally constructed by a cigar manufacturer, lending the space an architectural character rarely found in purpose-built coworking centres. Workstations come equipped with ergonomic furniture, and high-speed Wi-Fi runs throughout. Free water is available as standard. The atmosphere strikes a balance between sociable and focused: open enough for a working lunch with a colleague, calm enough for concentrated solo work. St. Oberholz as a brand has been part of Berlin's independent workspace scene since 2005, and this Zehdenicker location carries that same café-first, work-ready identity forward.
St. Oberholz | Zehdenicker offers Highspeed Wifi, Barista, Ergonomic Furniture, Free Water.
Zehdenicker Straße 1, 10119, Berlin
Zehdenicker Straße 1 sits in Berlin-Mitte, within easy walking distance of the Rosenthaler Platz area — one of the city's densest clusters of independent cafés, galleries, and creative businesses. The street connects the residential grid of the old Spandauer Vorstadt neighbourhood with the busier commercial stretch toward Torstraße. Public transport access to the broader Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg network is straightforward from nearby U-Bahn and tram stops. The surrounding blocks are characterised by late-19th-century Altbau residential buildings, ground-floor boutiques, and several well-regarded restaurants — making it a practical location for meeting clients or stepping out between working sessions. The area draws a mix of media professionals, freelancers, and startup workers, reflecting the broader character of Berlin's inner-city creative economy.
To enter St. Oberholz, find the main entrance marked with its name. Members can use their access card, while visitors should ring the bell. Reception is immediately inside to assist with directions or questions
