We rented a day office from Regus again and can't complain.  No matter whether Frankfurt, Cologne, Berlin, Leipzig, Hanover or Dortmund, so far everything has been great and that for over a year. Ok, parking situation and unfortunately bad in every city...

Unfortunately I cannot recommend Regus. After 5 weeks, my problem with the height-adjustable tables still hasn't been solved. Wrong delivery, unstable quality and no one feels responsible. The service leaves a lot to be desired and you are treated anything but seriously. Premium prices for poor service – definitely not a recommendation.

Unfortunately, for organizational reasons, it was not possible for me to time the arrival time at this office perfectly at 9 a.m. That's why I was there about half an hour earlier every day. The greeting on the first day was very sobering after saying good morning, as I was told in no uncertain terms that it wouldn't open until 9 a.m. But I should wait at reception. When I was asked if I could go to the office, I was answered

The next disillusionment was that I only booked from 9 a.m. When I replied that this had not been a problem during my previous visits to other locations, the answer was: "...then my colleagues would have done it wrong." After I was allowed to watch the master prepare for her day and count down the time, she took courage at 2 minutes past 9 and led me to an office, which, according to her, was "booked incorrectly", so that we met up again made the journey and stood in an office, which was obviously a private office; an office for two was booked. The problem was solved by adding an office chair. At 9:15 a.m. my customer called me asking where I was, we had an appointment at 9 a.m.

I would have liked to use this time to prepare, so I first had to explain the inconvenience to my client and apologize and prepare my technique in the client's presence. Personally, I find that unprofessional.

In these first few minutes there was no indication of organizational matters such as drinks or toilets. I had to ask everything. The next day there was the desired office with two workstations, but without the usual Regus look, but with desk surfaces that had not been cleaned and a TV niche without a TV. The third day was nice and expected. It was the same office and I entered it in exactly the same condition as when I left it. Dirty dishes and empty bottles. Like I said, expected!

It would have been very easy and I would not have written this review if my wishes had been accommodated and I had been given access to the office earlier. So I focused on the things that made my stay unpleasant.

I wrote this post on the third day of the mandatory waiting period. I hope I don't go to the Ellipson again.

Answer to the reaction.

I don't want any arrangement for my personal benefit, if that was the idea behind the FB invitation. Especially since I don't have an account either. I would like to have an impact in the interests of all customers and that can be made public. Gain sympathy points and show that you are making a serious effort, including by explaining why you do certain things one way and not another.

Addition for November 15th and 17th, 2023:

The employee tries very hard and is much more open, but you can clearly tell that she is overloaded with tasks. The first office was again a single office, so wrong, with the note "sometimes the system does it like that". If you know that, then you can change it! In the interests of the customers and in the interests of the employees. The second office was suitable and had a note about restrictions. The restriction was a TV cabinet, but it was picked up during the day. You can deal with this as a customer.

I wrote the addendum while I was waiting for access to the office. It's 9am and my appointment starts now! As a customer, I can't deal with that.

Addition to my last review: my new lowlight at Regus: we booked a conference room for 2 days to work together with the entire team. But at that time there is no one there to let us into the room. Reception is not manned, when you call at 11 a.m. you get “You are calling outside of our business hours” and emails are not answered either. The result: an entire company waits for an hour to be allowed into the room because the receptionist is in an "important" meeting.

At this point the landlord would normally apologize and try to smooth things over. But not here: no apology or anything like that, instead we are billed for the hour again. Maybe we should handle it similarly and bill all employees in the company for an hour...

------

I definitely cannot recommend Regus. Overall very unreliable. New, unplanned costs arise spontaneously. Latest idea: €10(!) is charged per package per day for every package that arrives there. There is no information that packages are arriving but the clock starts from the first second. So if 1-2 business partners send Christmas presents and you go to them once a week for letters, that could be an additional €100 in costs. I don't know anything like that from anyone else.

I'm very glad we hired another company for our phone service. We are definitely very dissatisfied and cannot recommend it.
