Work in Marquês (WIN) is a small, family-run office centre on the first floor of Avenida António Augusto de Aguiar 24, a few minutes from Marquês de Pombal. It specialises in compact private offices of up to 30 m², and no two are alike: rooms look onto the avenue or onto the shared terrace, and some have a balcony, a private WC or their own door to the terrace. The offices get plenty of daylight. Published prices are €640 a month for a 15 m² office for 1–4 people and €730 for an 18 m² office for 1–5 people, both plus VAT. Electricity, cable or Wi-Fi internet, air conditioning, daily cleaning, 24/7 access, the meeting room, a coffee machine, filtered water, the terrace and an equipped kitchenette are included; furniture, a morning fruit basket and a custom fit-out are optional. Contracts run from one to twelve months, and you can move to a larger or smaller room mid-contract. The six-person meeting room costs €20 an hour plus VAT, and a virtual office with a Lisbon business address and mail handling costs €34 a month plus VAT. Many tenants stay for years.

Work in Marquês is on Avenida António Augusto de Aguiar, a few minutes' walk from the Marquês de Pombal roundabout in central Lisbon. Picoas metro station is about 250 m away, and the Parque and Marquês de Pombal stations are a short walk further, with several bus lines along the avenue. If you drive, there is street parking and the Maria Cristina and Marquês car parks. The surrounding blocks cover every errand – bakeries, supermarkets, gyms, pharmacies and plenty of restaurants – and independent coffee shops are within a two-minute walk. The Picoas Plaza shopping centre is about 200 m away.

I’ve had the chance to work from many offices and with many office owners, so I have a solid basis for comparison. This place is truly in a league of its own. What stands out most is that it’s not just great service, it’s genuine, personal care. Any questions or requests are handled incredibly quickly, and you always feel that people genuinely want to help rather than simply do their job. A special mention goes to the owner, who is an exceptionally kind, positive, and welcoming person. That attitude shapes the atmosphere of the entire space. The office itself is spacious, bright, and features an amazing large terrace that’s perfect for working, relaxing, or chatting with others. But the biggest advantage isn’t the space itself, it’s the people. There’s a fantastic community here that makes the office feel more like a welcoming family than a cold corporate workspace. If you’re looking for an office with outstanding service, a personal approach, an inspiring atmosphere, and a strong sense of community, I couldn’t recommend this place more. It’s easily one of the best office spaces I’ve ever worked from. And for sure best option in Lisbon, located in a city center

I’ve been renting an office here and can honestly recommend it. The management is excellent, always responsive and genuinely supportive. The location is great and easy to get to, the space itself is comfortable and well maintained, and the patio area is a fantastic spot to take a break or have an informal meeting. Overall, a great place to work from.

Impeccable facilities, fast and uninterrupted internet, a fully equipped kitchenette (coffee machine, hot and cold water dispenser, teas, fruit, chocolates, etc.) with plenty of natural light and shared with the other "residents" of Work in. The customer service is excellent, and Raquel and Gonçalo were extraordinary hosts during the months we spent with them. Thank you for everything!
