CreativeRez is a creative coworking studio on the fourth floor of Avenida Infante Dom Henrique 336 in eastern Lisbon, set up for artists, designers and other creative minds rather than for classic office work. The open studio floor has rows of white desks under a concrete coffered ceiling, a long wall of windows that fills the room with daylight, and easels and artwork around the space. Painters, sculptors and other visual artists, photographers, writers and journalists get individual workspaces with artist-friendly amenities, while fashion designers, craft artists and graphic designers work at spacious workstations, and the studio invites its members to meet, inspire each other and collaborate. Desks are booked online: you choose one of the available tables for a full eight-hour day at €25, or reserve one for a whole working week. The studio is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 19:00.

CreativeRez is on Avenida Infante Dom Henrique, the long avenue that runs parallel to the river through eastern Lisbon, near Cabo Ruivo at the southern edge of Parque das Nações. Cabo Ruivo metro station on the red line, with direct trains to the airport and to Saldanha, is about four minutes on foot, and Oriente, Lisbon's big metro, train and bus interchange, is roughly a 12-minute walk. The gardens at the southern end of Parque das Nações, such as the Jardim do Cabeço das Rolas, are about six minutes away, and the Vasco da Gama shopping centre and the restaurants around Oriente are around a quarter of an hour on foot.
