Wimbletech sits inside Wimbledon Reference Library — a characterful, traditional building that makes an unlikely but memorable backdrop for focused modern work. The space offers hot desks, fixed desks, private offices, meeting rooms, and event spaces, meaning it scales with you whether you're a freelancer clocking a long day or a startup team that needs a permanent base. Members get 24/7 access, high-speed Wi-Fi, phone booths for private calls, lockers, postal services, free tea and coffee, and a cafeteria on hand when the afternoon slump hits. The community leans toward founders, freelancers, and remote workers — reviewers consistently call out the friendly, like-minded atmosphere and the surprisingly affordable pricing. Regular community events keep the 400-strong network of entrepreneurs genuinely connected rather than just sharing a floor. Wimbledon Reference Library, London, UK
Wimbletech is housed in Wimbledon Reference Library, placing it right in the heart of Wimbledon — one of southwest London's most well-connected and walkable town centres. The area is well-served by Wimbledon station, which sits at the junction of the London Overground, National Rail services, and the District line, making it straightforward to reach from central London and the surrounding suburbs. Trams connect to Croydon and beyond. The town centre itself brings together independent cafés, restaurants, and green spaces within easy reach — useful for lunch breaks or after-work wind-downs. Wimbledon's mix of residential calm and urban convenience attracts a community of founders and remote workers who want a proper professional base without the commute into zone 1. The library setting also means you're embedded in a public-facing civic building, which adds an openness and foot traffic that purely private coworking spaces rarely have.
To access Wimbletech at Wimbledon Reference Library, enter through the main entrance on Wimbledon Hill Road. Upon arrival, check in at the reception located within the library. The space offers 24/7 access, allowing members to come and go as they please. Security measures are in place to ensure a safe working environment, including surveillance and secure entry systems. The building features both elevators and stairs for easy floor navigation. Parking is available nearby, but it is recommended to use public transport for convenience.
Wimbletech is consistently rated as one of the best-value coworking spaces in southwest London for startups and freelancers. Members highlight the affordable pricing, 24/7 access, and a genuinely engaged community of over 400 entrepreneurs as key reasons they stay.

It strikes the perfect balance between a professional work environment and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, the desks are spacious, and the overall setup makes it easy to stay focused and productive. A great bonus: tea, coffee, and biscuits are free for those working there, which adds a really nice touch to the experience. The community is friendly, and the staff are helpful and professional. I’ve been at Wimbletech for 3 years and absolutely love it. It’s excellent value, the people are great, and there’s a real sense of community with plenty of chances to socialise. I have a fixed desk in the air-conditioned office, but there are lots of flexible options too. Highly recommended for both long-term and short-term users.

Such a great space, I've been in a few shared offices over the years and this is by far the my favourite. No fuss, simple payment/contract (I previously had a nightmare with spaces!). Really nice helpful staff in a great location. Also already had some work from being here! Nice people :-) I could go on!!
