Wheelhouse is a social wellness club on Rua do Conde that opens its café and lounge to remote workers on weekdays under the name slow-working. A day pass costs from €22 and gives you full-day access to the space from 9:00 to 17:00, unlimited coffee, tea and filtered water, and an afternoon reset such as a sound bath or group acupuncture; the salt cave is yours for a lunch-break pause, and day-pass packs are sold for regulars. There are areas for collaboration and breaks, plus a dedicated quiet room for focused work, and dogs are welcome. You work from café tables and lounge seating rather than assigned desks, and the Wheelhouse café serves its own menu. Outside coworking hours the house, open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 22:00, runs classes and workshops from Pilates and breathwork to astrology, holistic treatments, retreats and community evenings such as movie nights, jam sessions and storytelling slams. The rooms can also be rented for workshops, corporate trainings and private gatherings. Wheelhouse was founded by astrologer and artist Chris Corsini, and guests quoted on its website praise the interior design and the warm team.

Review summary
Across 49 detailed Google reviews, Wheelhouse comes across as a warm, events-driven space in the middle of Lisbon that members treat as much as a place to connect as a place to work. Atmosphere is what members talk about most. Reviewers describe good energy throughout, with the music and lighting helping to create a space people enjoy spending time in. The team is the second constant: staff are praised again and again, one reviewer calling them “absolutely top shelf”. For focused work, the slow working set-up offers areas with different noise levels, and a reviewer notes that coworking is available at a very affordable price. What sets the space apart is its programme. Events come up in a third of the reviews, and one member names the seasonal and astrological events as a personal favourite. That social pull carries over into everyday life, with several members describing it as a great place to meet new people. Food and drink also earn real enthusiasm, and the chai latte in particular is singled out as exceptional. Criticism is rare. One member was less taken with the atmosphere and another had a less positive experience with the staff, but set against the many warm comments on both counts these remain isolated voices. Reviewers say comparatively little about equipment, wifi or meeting rooms, so the space is judged mainly on its feel and its people rather than its practical set-up.
Members most consistently praise Atmosphere, On-site events, and Staff & service.

Such a beautiful and calming space. As a longtime follower of Chris, I was hoping to meet him during my visit, but Wheelhouse itself felt like such a genuine reflection of him. Tiago and the entire staff made our visit incredibly special. Everyone was kind, warm, and welcoming, and we loved the 4PM Reset session. The space and experience were everything I expected and more. Can’t wait to return!

Best Coworking in Lisbon!

I came to Wheelhouse because of what Chris Corsini has built his reputation around: healing, safety, openness, connection and creating a space where people can actually let their guard down. Unfortunately, one young male staff member managed to create almost the exact opposite atmosphere. He was astonishingly rude. Not accidentally abrupt, not having an off moment — loudly, repeatedly and unnecessarily unkind. There was a sneering, hostile quality to the way he interacted with people that was so pronounced that even his male coworker appeared visibly stressed by his behaviour. This wasn’t one unfortunate interaction. He seemed to bring an abrasive, contemptuous energy into the space itself. And Chris should seriously consider who is actually walking through those doors. People travel from all over the world to come to Wheelhouse. We did. People plan trips, make the journey to Lisbon, spend substantial amounts of money and arrive trusting the reputation Wheelhouse has built around healing, openness and emotional safety. Imagine travelling internationally for that experience and being greeted with hostility and contempt. That was our welcome. From what I observed, the overwhelming majority of the people coming through those doors and financially supporting this space are women. Women do not need to travel across the world and pay a premium to enter a space marketed around healing only to be made to feel small, uncomfortable, unwelcome or anxious by a young man working there. And to be clear, I am not suggesting his behaviour was exclusively directed at women. It wasn’t. Watching him speak rudely to his own male coworker made the situation even more uncomfortable. The problem was the atmosphere he created around him — one of tension rather than warmth, and anxiety rather than safety. Whatever his personal issues, personality or reasons for behaving that way may be, they should not become the emotional burden of the people paying to be there. The irony would almost be funny if it weren’t so unpleasant: you cannot sell healing while allowing someone at the front line of that experience to make people feel anxious, belittled and unwelcome. Chris, if you read your reviews, I genuinely hope you pay attention to this one. What you are trying to create deserves better stewardship. One spectacularly unpleasant staff member can poison the atmosphere of an entire room, and this one did. People coming to Wheelhouse should not have to brace themselves for somebody’s attitude before they can access the very space they’re being told is safe enough to soften in. Especially when some of those people have crossed borders and travelled thousands of kilometres specifically to be there. The space itself has enormous potential. The experience this employee created was the antithesis of everything Wheelhouse claims to represent. If your business is built around making people feel safe enough to soften, the people representing it need to understand that kindness isn’t an optional extra. It’s part of what you’re selling. Healing requires kindness. At the absolute bare minimum, so does hospitality.

A wonderful experience to repeat, a beautiful, welcoming, comfortable space, purified with good energy and a good atmosphere. They have a schedule with activities that are frequently running, which you can book, pay for, and participate in. Today's activity was yin yoga and sound baths, being present with the body, movements, sensations, the soul, the whole being, and letting yourself be carried away by the sound of various instruments and even chanting that uplift the soul and relax us completely! You can enjoy astrology and cartomancy consultations with Chris, release and disintegration in the beautiful little room with Himalayan salt cleansing without technology, and enjoy activities in the cozy therapy room with crystals underneath to promote everyone's well-being 🙏✨️💖 Beautiful moment! 🧚♀️🔮🧿🪬🖼 Enjoy a drink, art, good taste and good conversations with whomever you meet, the magic happens! 😉✨️🌠🌌
