2 Turm 9 Gertrude-Fröhlich-Sandner-Straße, 1100, Vienna, Austria
Spaces Icon Central Station sits at the intersection of two of Vienna's most dynamic emerging business districts: Sonnwendviertel and Quartier Belvedere. Wien Hauptbahnhof is directly below — long-distance rail, regional trains, S-Bahn lines, and the U1 U-Bahn all converge here, making the nearest transit point, Südtiroler Platz, one of the most connected nodes in the Austrian capital. The BahnhofCity shopping mall is integrated into the station itself, offering retail, dining options, and an Austrian Post branch for everyday errands. Step outside and the Belvedere Palace complex and its formal gardens are within easy walking distance — a rare lunchtime escape. The Heeresgeschichtliches Museum and the Federal Ministry of Defence are also nearby, reflecting the district's mix of cultural heritage and institutional gravity. For arriving clients or colleagues, Wien Hauptbahnhof is widely considered Austria's premier rail gateway — international, regional, and suburban services all stop here, so reaching the office from anywhere in the country is straightforward.
Located at Gertrude-Fröhlich-Sandner-Straße 2–4, Tower 9 (Turm 9), floors 7, 8, and 9, in the Icon development directly adjacent to Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station), 1100 Vienna. The building is part of the Icon tower complex, which is walkable from the main station exit. Reception is on-site. Private office and dedicated desk members have 24/7 keycard access. Parking is available in the building. The venue is wheelchair accessible and served by lifts.
Review summary
Reviewers consistently praise Spaces Icon Central Station for its prime location directly beside Vienna's main train station and its bright, modern design. The open coworking area and business club are described as spacious, well-lit, and motivating, with a panoramic view over the city and an on-site barista. Staff are frequently singled out as friendly, helpful, and reliable. One reviewer notes that the open desk area has limited monitor-ready workstations, and a separate account cautions that the membership cancellation terms — requiring a two-month minimum — are not prominently displayed during sign-up.

Modern center, but an intransparent membership model A great, bright, modern center right next to Vienna Central Station — the location and facilities are spot on. Unfortunately, signing up for the “monthly cancellable” co-working membership online was disappointing: even though I cancelled immediately after subscribing (I only wanted to try it for one month), I ended up having to pay for two months. On top of that, there were additional sign-up and contract fees. Support pointed me to the Terms and Conditions (at the very bottom of the page), which state a two-month minimum term. Fair enough from a legal standpoint — but it would be truly fair to make that fine print clearly visible during the checkout process. Overall: it looks great on the outside, but in the end it feels like they charge you wherever and however they can.
