Mindscape is a small coworking space and office share in Köln-Ehrenfeld for designers, developers and other creatives. The residents are freelancers and self-employed people from creative and related fields, from graphic and UX design to copywriting and translation, who each do their own thing but prefer to do it together. There is room for six coworkers, each with their own fixed desk with chair and rolling container, 24/7 access and their own landline number, and glass fronts bring in plenty of daylight. A desk costs €270 a month with two months' notice. Members share very fast internet, a printer, scanner, fax and plotter, a fully equipped kitchen, a conference and seminar room, photo studio equipment, a workshop with tools and a garden for lunch breaks. The seminar room can also be booked by the hour from €25 (from four hours) or for €150 a day. Mindscape is about more than working side by side: members realise projects together, have lunch, share the odd Kölsch and host networking meetings or film evenings from time to time.

Mindscape is on Piusstraße in Köln-Ehrenfeld, a central spot in one of Cologne's most diverse districts. The Piusstraße stop, served by tram lines 3 and 4, is almost at the front door. A multi-storey car park sits right next to the office, and with some luck you can also find a parking space on Venloer Straße, lined with cafés and restaurants.
