Königstadt Workspace is a members-only office community on Straßburger Straße, on the border of Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte, built for fixed teams rather than day visitors – there are no day passes. It has 52 workstations: seven private offices for 4 to 12 people and four freestanding desks that are rented on a fixed basis. Eight soundproofed phone booths, two meeting rooms for 10–14 and 6 people, a meeting lounge for four and a kitchen with a high table for six meetings support the teams. Every desk and chair is height-adjustable Vitra furniture, the fibre connection is symmetric and redundant, and keyless digital access runs Monday to Sunday from 7:00 to 22:00. On the roof there is a BBQ terrace with a view over the Berlin skyline for the community. The space is part of the Shio Capital portfolio community, is currently fully booked and keeps a waiting list – when a desk or office becomes free, people on the list are contacted and can arrange a viewing.
