Impact Brixton liegt im Brixton Village, dem kulturell ikonischen überdachten Markt in der Electric Lane in SW9 – einem Viertel, das weithin als Londons afrokaribisches Kulturzentrum gilt, geprägt von unabhängigen Läden, Musikgeschichte und einer bemerkenswerten Gastronomieszene. Direkt vor der Markttür befinden sich unzählige unabhängige Restaurants: Nuvola Pizza, Mama Doe, Jalisco, Satay Bar, Clovers und Healthy Eaters liegen in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft, und einige davon catern auch Events. Die U-Bahn-Station Brixton (Victoria line) ist zwei Gehminuten entfernt und verbindet in wenigen Minuten mit dem Londoner Zentrum. Zu Fuß ist die Anfahrt unkompliziert: Bahnhof verlassen, die Electric Avenue hinuntergehen, links in die Electric Lane abbiegen – der Eingang zum Brixton Village Market und Impact Brixton im ersten Obergeschoss liegen auf der linken Seite. Während der Öffnungszeiten mit Host ist keine Anmeldung erforderlich – einfach hineingehen, ein Host begrüßt vor Ort. Hosts sind montags bis freitags von 9:00 bis 18:00 Uhr anwesend. Coworking-Mitglieder haben täglich von 8:30 bis 20:00 Uhr Zugang; Mitglieder mit Büroraum können nach einer Einführung von 7:00 bis 23:00 Uhr auf den Space zugreifen. Zwei Gehminuten von der U-Bahn-Station Brixton (Victoria line): Bahnhof verlassen, die Electric Avenue hinuntergehen, links in die Electric Lane abbiegen – der Eingang liegt auf der linken Seite im Brixton Village Market. Straßenparkplätze sind in der Rushcroft Road verfügbar (ca. 2 Gehminuten), kostenlose Parkplätze gibt es auf der anderen Seite der Electric Lane hinter dem Satay Bar im Brixton Village. I'm obsessed with the interiors and I haven't fully used all of the space yet! The biophilic approach is really soothing and calming. The colours in the space make it vibrant and bright which works perfectly for me as I like working environments that are relaxed. The IB staff are so accommodating, warm, friendly and happy to assist! Also access to the building is straightforward and secure. The location is perfect like less than a 5 minute walk from Brixton station and next to ample of choice for dinner/tea including Healthy Eaters! I'm really looking forward to my next visit and using more of the space.

One of the best thought out community workspaces in London. The ample natural light and plants make it a delight to work in. The commitment to food and getting together is magic and you feel like your part of something bigger than youself - even if you are only a visitor. It's very special. The Black authors book shelf is a 'must read' - I discovered Musical Truth: A Musical History of Modern Black Britain in 28 Songs by Jeffrey Boakye there in 2022.

I haven’t come across a space in London quite like Impact Brixton. I love it. It’s a co-working and office space community hub full of vibrant entrepreneurial energy with lovely members and staff, who make you feel so welcome

I spent a day working at Impact Brixton when visiting a friend in London for the weekend and needing an office space on the Friday. I can’t recommend it enough, a friendly welcome, excellent equipment and a lovely calming environment with plenty of tea and coffee on hand in the kitchen area not to mention a game or two to play after a hard days work. If you’re in the Brixton area, it’s the perfect spot for a bit of work with the shops, bars and food places on the doorstep!
