Die Community lebt von wöchentlichen Venture Café Thursday Gatherings, dem #ai_berlin Hub und Partnern wie dem Forward College — was bedeutet, dass die Person am Tisch nebenan in der Regel selbst etwas baut. Der Campus liegt am südlichen Rand von Alt-Treptow direkt am Landwehrkanal — Görlitzer Park, U-Bahnhof Schlesisches Tor und die Cafés Kreuzbergs sind über die Brücke in zehn Minuten erreichbar. Die Ecke rund um die Lohmühlenstraße hat sich von einem Schwerindustrie-Standort in eine dichte Mischung aus KI-Laboren, Musikstudios, Agenturen und Spätis verwandelt — das Kali Café und die Bars der Görlitzer Straße liegen ein paar Minuten nördlich, die Restaurants der Kiefholzstraße südlich. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist außergewöhnlich flexibel: U1 ab Schlesisches Tor und Görlitzer Bahnhof, S-Bahn ab Treptower Park und der Bus 194 hält direkt vor dem Gebäude. Der Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg ist in etwa 25 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar, und der Treidelweg am Kanal bietet einen autofreien Radweg nach Mitte in unter zwanzig Minuten.
Der Eingang befindet sich an der Lohmühlenstraße 65; melde dich an der CIC-Rezeption in der Haupthalle für dein Tagesbadge oder den Mitgliederzugang an. Das Gebäude ist barrierefrei und alle fünf Etagen sind per Aufzug erreichbar. Die nächste U-Bahn ist Schlesisches Tor (10 Minuten zu Fuß über die Brücke), die nächste S-Bahn Treptower Park (15 Minuten), und der Bus 194 hält direkt vor dem Haus. Sicheres Indoor-Fahrrad-Parken ist inklusive; ein Auto-Parkplatz steht nicht zur Verfügung, aber in den umliegenden Straßen findet sich freies Parken — Schilder beachten.

Top facilities for co-working. I really appreciate the attention to detail on things like having breakfast and afternoon snacks, bathroom amenities and community breakfasts. There are a lot of really nice community events like run & rave, wellness events and films in the cinema (!), plus a massive weekly networking event. Always a pleasure interacting with the team :)

This is a great coworking space with frequent high-quality events. I used to go to University here and still frequent it as an alumni and attend events when I can. There is a running club, non-profit startup space, AI safety institute, and a lot of startups, universities, and ventures in the building. A good place to build a company and network.

This is an amazing coworking space! They host a variety of events all the time. I attended an event called Run&Rave, which is a mix of running and rave parties. It takes place at 7 a.m. every Thursday. Participants enjoy small, pleasant surprises, such as free drinks and the chance to work in the coworking space for free that day. The coworking space itself is very comfortable and well-equipped. It has excellent ventilation and security cameras for safety. There are small, private booths for individual calls, where you can adjust the lighting and ventilation — perfect for phone calls or focused work. The kitchen is also a great feature: it offers free coffee, tea, and cereal, as well as space to store and heat your own food. There's even a ping-pong table for a quick break. The space provides various working zones, including desks and cozy poufs, catering to teams and individual workers alike. Overall, it's a fantastic place to work and connect with others!

CIC Innovation Center Berlin is a fantastic place for startups, entrepreneurs, and professionals looking for high-quality workspaces. The offices are modern, well-equipped, and provide an inspiring environment to collaborate and grow. The community is diverse, and the networking opportunities are excellent. However, I was disappointed to see multiple political statements being made within the space. While CIC promotes inclusivity, such expressions can create division rather than unity. A truly inclusive environment should focus on fostering innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurship without political bias. The concept of CIC is great and has the potential to energize and stimulate innovation in Berlin and across Europe. I hope to see a stronger emphasis on this mission in the future!
