Review summary
Across 19 detailed Google reviews, The Gate Berlin emerges as a warm, well-run event and coworking space in Berlin, where the quality of the team and the atmosphere leave a consistently strong impression on members. The staff draws the most praise of any aspect, with reviewers singling out the team by name — one member describes the experience as simply "sensationell." The atmosphere scores equally high, with members returning a sense that the space feels genuinely welcoming rather than transactional. Food and drink offerings are another repeated highlight, noted alongside well-equipped rooms and clean surroundings that add to the overall sense of care put into the venue. Events are a clear differentiator: members point to memorable occasions — one describes attending "die schönste Weihnachtsfeier aller Zeiten" — and the meeting rooms are praised as spacious, private, and modern, making the venue a credible choice for gatherings beyond everyday desk work. The community of people who use and animate the space also earns quiet appreciation, with reviewers noting the calibre and warmth of those they encounter there. The one honest gap worth flagging relates to noise and focus. A small number of members note that event activity — including a DJ playing loud music until 23:00 — can make the space difficult to use for concentrated work on certain evenings. Those who value quiet productivity may want to time their visits with the event calendar in mind.

It was rent out for party. DJ played loud music until 23:00 and the party only ended at 24:00 while the upstairs are living space of some other people. It didn’t respect the Ruhezeit in Germany at all. The host of the event should bear the responsibility of choosing the right place for party in mind. And the administrator of The Gate should only allow the suitable events in such a residential area.
