Detmold's first coworking space isn't just a desk rental — it's a 400 m² loft carved out of a historic old-town building, and it's been called "a bit of Berlin in Detmold" by the people who work here. Stunt occupies a full industrial floor at Lange Straße 71, right in the pedestrian zone overlooking the Schlosspark: exposed concrete, Persian rugs, real plants, and enough startup energy to make your home office feel like a distant memory. Members get 24/7 keycode access, flat-rate organic fair-trade coffee, tea, and water, plus phone booths for focused calls and external monitors when spreadsheets demand more screen. But the space is only half the story — Stunt runs a genuinely active calendar of networking nights, startup pitches, afterwork parties, yoga, and design fairs. Membership starts at €5/month (Club Pass), scales up to a Fix Desk, and every newcomer gets a free trial day — no strings attached. Homeoffice go to Hell.
71 Lange Straße, 32756, Detmold, Germany
Stunt sits at Lange Straße 71 in the heart of Detmold's historic Altstadt, directly within the pedestrian zone and overlooking the Schlosspark — one of the city's most pleasant green spaces. The surrounding old-town quarter is compact and entirely walkable, lined with independent cafés, bakeries, and shops a short stroll in any direction. Getting here is straightforward: bus stop 'Rosental' is roughly 100 metres away, and Detmold Hauptbahnhof is just a few minutes on foot. Drivers will appreciate the roof-level car park sitting directly above the building — no circling required. Look for the distinctive blue entrance door on the alley off Lange Straße; once you spot it, you've found it. For members with 24/7 access, there's no rush: arrival by keycode means you set your own schedule, whatever the hour. The nearest transit stop is Oerl-Helpup, Hallenbad for regional connections.

You could say it's a bit like Berlin in the tranquil town of Detmold, considering the concept behind the "Stunt" coworking space. What I particularly liked about the coworking space was that it brought that typical start-up vibe to our area. I find the decor, the many green plants, and the overall atmosphere to be a productivity and, potentially, creativity booster. In times of home office and mobile work, it's possible to meet up with former colleagues and spend a day together without having to see each other outside of work hours. The facilities are excellent. The Wi-Fi is crucial, and there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Our chosen plan also included unlimited coffee, ensuring we stayed energized. For all the aspiring hipsters and developers out there, drinks from the Hamburg-based company (Fritz! Cola, etc.) are available at reasonable prices. A real luxury (though not to be expected at this price) would be a second monitor at each workstation and some more comfortable desk chairs. The owners, who also work there, are happy to chat and explain the history of this still very young company. It's clear that there's a strong desire to balance career, work, and family, and I think the concept is very promising. Whether you want to meet up with former colleagues to work together, get out of your home office for a while, or simply work in a relaxed atmosphere – the "Stunt" coworking space offers exactly that. Whether you opt for a day pass, access the free community area, or rent a semi-permanent office in one of the available spaces, this coworking space is definitely worth considering!

Amazing! This is really great. Excellent workspaces, clean and tidy. The interior is very modern yet rustic. It's neither loud nor does it feel disturbed. I'll be back!

Fantastic premises. Finally, a place to work in a relaxed atmosphere. After years of working from home with a child and a dog, I'm so grateful for this opportunity. Great idea... I'll definitely be coming to your office.

Convenient coworking space right in Detmold's city center, plenty of desks upstairs and some space downstairs for networking. I'll definitely be back :)
