Spaces Schiphol Airport Terminal 1 is a coworking and meeting space located airside on the third floor of Departure Hall 1 at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, making it one of the few professional workspaces in Europe accessible directly within an international terminal. Operated by Spaces, the location offers a lounge area, dedicated meeting rooms, and flexible work settings spread across six work areas — accommodating over a hundred visitors. The setup suits frequent flyers, remote workers in transit, and corporate teams whose schedules revolve around Schiphol. Meeting rooms can be booked for focused sessions or client presentations without leaving the terminal. The lounge provides a calm alternative to departure-gate seating, with a professional backdrop for calls and focused work. Reception is available Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00, and the workspace sits within Schiphol's secure departure zone — meaning it requires a valid boarding pass or airside access for entry.

Terminal 1,Evert van de Beekstraat 202, 1118 CP, Amsterdam, Netherlands
Spaces Terminal 1 sits within Amsterdam Airport Schiphol itself — one of Europe's busiest international hubs — rather than in a surrounding urban neighborhood. The workspace is located airside in Departure Hall 1, meaning access requires passing through security with a valid boarding pass. Schiphol Airport Train Station is directly connected to the terminal building, running services to Amsterdam Central in approximately 15 minutes and offering intercity and international rail connections. Parking is available in the Schiphol airport garages adjacent to the terminal. For those not flying, the broader Schiphol area — including the World Trade Centre Schiphol complex — lies just outside the terminal on Evert van de Beekstraat, with road and rail links making it one of the most transit-connected business districts in the Netherlands. Hotels including the Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol are within walking distance of the terminal.

Review summary
Across 10 detailed Google reviews, Spaces Schiphol Airport Terminal 1 is experienced as a meeting and workspace option positioned directly within the airport terminal, making it accessible to travelers moving through Amsterdam's main hub. The convenience of the location — removing the need to leave the secure or landside areas of Schiphol — is the clearest practical draw that emerges from member accounts, particularly for those seeking a quiet place to work or hold a meeting between flights. However, the overall picture members paint is one shaped primarily by frustration rather than satisfaction. The two most consistently raised concerns both carry significant weight. Staff conduct is the dominant theme in the reviews, and the tone is notably sharp: members describe interactions as unwelcoming, with one reviewer stating that "the staff are unbelievably rude." This is not an isolated remark but a pattern across multiple accounts, pointing to a front-of-house experience that falls well short of expectations for a professional workspace environment. Pricing and booking integrity compound this dissatisfaction. At least one member reports that a reservation was altered without their knowledge or consent — upgraded to a larger configuration and billed accordingly, described as "amended without my request nor approval for 12 persons, ×10 times the price." For a venue where the transit context already limits alternatives, members suggest that both the service culture and the reliability of bookings warrant careful consideration before committing.

I strongly disrecommend this place to independent workers. I booked co-working space for 1 person last week, as I had several hours to work in the airport. My booking was amended without my request nor approval for 12 persons (×10 times the price) the day before my arrival. On arrival day, I asked at front desk and was reassured it was their mistake and I would be charged the right amount. I had a big surprise the following day when I was debited the x10 price. I have complained through numerous channels and to no avail. I have already reported to ACM ConsuWijzer. As I will be again in Ámsterdam next week, I will take the opportunity to report it to the police as well. I suppose the next step is to collect as many individual email addresses as possible and spam you, since the phone number provided is non existent and the help desk email box is no reply type. In any case, I strongly advise against using this facility since you will get zero accountability or help if anything goes wrong.
