Cologne's central rail hub (Köln Hauptbahnhof) is reachable in a short journey, and the neighbourhood is well served by tram and bus lines running through the inner city. For those arriving by car, parking is available at the building itself — a practical advantage in a district where street parking is scarce. Review summary
Across 26 detailed Google reviews, Spaces Breite Strasse comes across as a well-positioned coworking address in the heart of Cologne, drawing members who value convenience and a professional yet welcoming atmosphere. The team is the most frequently mentioned element, with members returning to phrases like "äußerst kompetenten und netten Team" to describe the staff — knowledgeable, approachable, and clearly central to the daily experience. Location follows closely, with reviewers consistently describing it as a coworking space "in bester Lage," placing it within easy reach of the city centre. The rooms themselves are noted as well-equipped, the atmosphere earns straightforward praise, and the coffee offering — including a barista preparing drinks on site — is a small but recurring delight. Reliable wifi and the availability of phone booths round out what members describe as a solid, productive setup. Beyond the daily routine, a handful of reviewers highlight community programming, mentioning workshops such as dried-flower arranging hosted within the space as a marker of a more curated, sociable side to membership. On the gaps side, a few members flag inconsistencies with the team — where most interactions are warm, some experiences fall short of that standard. Billing accuracy is raised as a concern, with at least one reviewer noting an erroneous duplicate charge. Pet policy also surfaces as a point of friction, with members who had expected to bring dogs finding that animals are not in fact permitted. These are worth bearing in mind before committing to a membership.

Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience with Spaces Cologne. Before signing the contract, I was assured that dogs were allowed in the coworking area – this was crucial for me. After the contract started, I was suddenly told that dogs were not allowed after all. As a result, I was only able to use the space for half a day, and my request for a refund or immediate cancellation of my subscription was consistently refused. The communication was polite, but in my opinion, not at all customer-friendly. My advice: Make sure you get all important agreements confirmed in writing beforehand and don't sign up for long-term subscriptions!

We've been tenants for five years. The center is going downhill step by step. For at least six months, access (the door) via the Regus app hasn't worked. Complaints have been fruitless. The reception is only staffed part-time at times. Water glasses disappear from the public area, and nobody investigates. And to top it all off, the installed and paid-for color printer hasn't worked for days. It's out of toner.
