Spaces 40 Rue du Louvre occupies a landmark Haussmann-era building at the edge of Les Halles, one of Paris's most connected central districts. The workspace spans multiple floors of the 9,700 sq m building, offering a range of formats: open coworking desks, quiet solo zones, private offices, and meeting rooms suited to both focused work and collaborative sessions. Confidential calls and small-group discussions are served by dedicated phone booths. On-site amenities include a cafeteria, lounge areas, a terrace, and shower facilities — making it practical for full workdays. The reception team is present throughout operating hours, and the building is equipped for guests with accessibility requirements. Natural light features prominently across the large, open-plan floors. The central location, clean, well-maintained interiors, and a consistently welcoming front-desk team make it a functional base for independent professionals, visiting executives, and teams needing a Paris address without a long-term lease commitment.

Review summary
Across 36 detailed Google reviews, Spaces 40 Rue du Louvre comes through as a polished, design-conscious coworking address in one of Paris's most central and well-connected neighborhoods, drawing a mix of freelancers and professionals who value the prestige of the location. Members consistently point to the setting itself as a draw, describing the space as "spacious and bright" with architecture that earns genuine admiration. Cleanliness is noted repeatedly and without reservation, and the "friendly young professional atmosphere" contributes to a working environment that many find easy to settle into. The location receives strong praise — reviewers call it "ideally located," with excellent transport links that make daily commuting straightforward. Meeting rooms and confidential booths are appreciated by those who need focused or private time, and the space has also been cited as well-suited to events and business gatherings. Staff stand out as a differentiator in both directions: a meaningful number of members recall a warm and welcoming team, while an almost equal number describe interactions that fell short of that standard, suggesting the experience can vary noticeably depending on the day or individual. The gaps that recur most persistently concern pricing and reliability. Several members flag unexpected charges — including activation fees they found difficult to justify — and the cost-to-value ratio draws repeated criticism. Connectivity and the coffee machines are mentioned as recurring operational frustrations, with at least one reviewer noting both were out of order on multiple consecutive days. Overcrowding is also raised as an occasional concern.
Members most consistently praise Staff & service, Atmosphere, and Location. The most-raised point to know about is Staff & service.

Scam warning: dishonest business practices, avoid at all costs. We got billed thousands of euros for services that were never rendered and which their sales rep Sheherazade later admitted she knew they could not deliver, despite us having been very explicit in our requirements. In addition, their application is extremely buggy and makes the service completely unusable (e.g. team members with unlimited memberships being asked to pay to book a seat, multiple errors when trying to cancel memberships, etc.). Despite immediate notification and request for membership cancellation and refund we have yet to find a solution several months later. Update February 2026: No solution has been found yet, despite "cancellation requests" being made by the support team last month following my Google review (after months of pretending they were not able to process cancellations), we are still being billed and even harassed by phone by their collections team. Highly recommend avoiding entering any contract with Spaces or International Working Group (the parent company)!

The coworking space is simply fabulous: numerous, quite spacious areas (I honestly don't understand some of the negative reviews) for teamwork or solo work (quiet zone), booths for confidential meetings, a friendly young professional atmosphere, attractive decor, and very clean. Well done Spaces/Regus!

Ideally located and very well maintained, the staff is welcoming and helpful. Perfect for coworking alone or in a team. I didn't give it 5 stars for two reasons: 1 - the lack of soundproof rooms (individual meeting rooms); some people come in during the morning and don't leave until the evening. 2 - people from other floors (not coworking spaces) come for lunch and don't respect the peace and quiet or the cleanliness of the premises.
