LACS Conde d'Óbidos isn't just a coworking space — it's a 5,000 m² restored dockworkers' building in Lisbon's Alcântara district, where industrial heritage and creative ambition share the same address. The bones of the building do the talking: exposed structure, curated art throughout, and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Tagus river that reviewers consistently call out as genuinely extraordinary. Below the surface, the ecosystem runs deep — ateliers, an art gallery, a café, a restaurant, and dedicated event spaces sit alongside hot desks, private offices, and meeting rooms under one roof. Day passes start from €20, making it accessible for digital nomads passing through Lisbon, while growing startups can scale into private offices. Step-free access, two on-site lifts, and buses stopping at the door mean getting here is straightforward. As part of the multi-location LACS network — Santos, Anjos, and Cascais included — members gain a foothold in Lisbon's most connected creative community.

Rocha do Conde de Óbidos, 1350-352, Lisbon, Portugal
LACS Conde d'Óbidos sits in Alcântara, a district shaped by centuries of maritime and industrial activity on the banks of the Tagus — and now firmly in the middle of Lisbon's creative regeneration story. The Tagus riverside and pier are a short walk from the building, offering a genuine change of scene between work sessions. The neighbourhood blends working-port grit with emerging studios, design practices, and cultural venues, making it a natural home for freelancers and startups who want atmosphere alongside connectivity. Getting here is easy: buses stop directly at the door on Rocha do Conde de Óbidos, a dedicated cycling lane runs adjacent to the building, and external car parking is available on-site. Cais do Sodré — the nearest major transit hub — connects Alcântara to central Lisbon, the Cascais line, and Fertagus river crossings, putting the rest of the city within comfortable reach.
Located at Rocha Conde d'Óbidos in the Alcântara district of Lisbon. The building is a prominent four-storey structure easily accessible by bus (stops at the door) and via the nearby cycling lane. External car parking is available on-site. The area also has good access to main road arteries. Visitors can contact the front desk or email condeobidos@lacs.pt to arrange a visit.

I will start by saying, no office is perfect. I have had an office independent from my home for 20 years and worked in different offices and companies for longer. The thing that always matters is the people in the places that I work. I have met various friends through LACS. I have been with LACS for over a year and some things have come up, but what I like is the team has helped me figure out solutions. I adore the women at the front desk. Give them all raises please. ( Edited to add the cleaning women also work so hard and are constantly cleaning. Nice to work in a space that has attention to cleanliness. )

It's a great space with really cool vibes. Lovely building with a lot of art inside and a nice canteen downstairs.

Localisation 2/10 Building 5/10 Support 3/10 The water supply has been unreliable for two days. They provided only 10 litres for one floor which was completely used within the first hour. There are two elevators but usually only one is working. This is likely due to conservation of the elevator with smelly detergents used to remove mould during working hours rather than after. The unpleasant smell was disturbing everyone. It’s a good business but not a great place to work.

Such a cool vibe of this place! Situated very well, near public transport and the pier for access and waking around between work.
