La Otra Sala is a coworking and cultural space in the Eixample, built by its founder around the idea that people come in to work and stay for the community. The ground-floor space has 35 desks with monitors and ergonomic chairs, including sit-stand desks, a long communal table and lounge corner, a kitchen and a terrace, plus a meeting room with projector. The operator counts more than 250 members and over 50 events a month, from yoga and breathwork to concerts, art workshops, tech talks, community lunches and a regular Thursday get-together. Resident members pay €230 a month for their own fixed desk, including a weekly yoga class, a coffee a day and six meeting-room hours; the Flex plan with a shared desk is €170 and a half-day plan €150, with 5–15% off for three- to twelve-month terms. Day passes cost €25, half days €15, a week €70 and a 10-day pass €120, booked online with a QR code at the door. The meeting room and the workshop room cost €30 an hour, and a registered business address is €50 a month. Prices exclude 21% VAT, and the space is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00, with special events at weekends.

La Otra Sala is one of those few CoWorkings in Barcelona where you can find a real community. The place is cosy, great people enough space for everyone and people not only eat together but also find co-founder or specialists for their projects. Oh, and Laura the owner of La Otra Sala is a heart and they are organising regular events from comedy shows and after works to breathwork experiences and art evenings. If you need a place to get stuff done but also to connect with others and have fun, this is yours.

Everything about this place is perfect. The atmosphere is nice and quiet, not too crowded, and there are spaces where you can make calls without being confined to awkward cubicles. The vibe is nice and very interesting, especially for all ages.
