Inside one of London's most recognisable towers, Huckletree Bishopsgate brings a people-first coworking community to the Square Mile's skyline. The space at 8 Bishopsgate is purpose-built for founders, scale-ups, and teams of 2–20 who want more than a desk — membership connects you to a B Corp-certified network spanning nine cross-location hubs, curated workshops, and direct access to an active investor community. Ten professionally designed meeting rooms, each named after a City landmark, are open to members and non-members alike, making this a genuinely flexible base whether you need a private office long-term or a hot desk for the day. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping views across the City, while the warm, on-the-ground Huckletree team keeps the environment anything but corporate. Early members describe the community as the kind where unexpected collaborations happen — and where small and growing businesses genuinely get a chance to thrive.

The immediate neighbourhood delivers everything the working day demands: a dense spread of restaurants, specialty coffee shops, and after-work bars line the streets between Bishopsgate and Moorgate. Broadgate Circle, Spitalfields Market, and the glass-and-steel canyons of the Eastern City cluster are all within easy reach, giving the area an energy that blends old financial gravitas with a growing tech and startup scene.

An incredible space for startups. The design is open and energising, but what stands out most is the curated community. I’ve attended events here that sparked collaborations I never expected. It’s exactly the kind of place where the future of business is being shaped.

We were one of the first companies to move into the newly opened workspace and so far the experience has been very good. Naturally there were some small teething issues as we settled into a brand new space, but the Huckletree team (in particular Ewan, Tom & Marica) have been EXCELLENT. They have ensured that any concern or question I have raised has been dealt with quickly and professionally. Would highly recommend to other companies looking for a new home!

2 months in and very glad we moved here - an open and supportive environment which does allow small and medium businesses a chance to thrive - set inside a landmark building and benefitting from the economies of scale of a being in such a striking building The set up. Set over 2 floors with a lot of teal. or maybe jade, I'm not big on interior design, but these chaps and chapesses are. There are a variety of office sizes, I suspect the average size is about 15-20 seats but there are larger if your demands need. There are also lots of meeting rooms and open breakout areas where people can have informal meetings/lunch as well as kitchens/fridges that encourage communal snacks/eating/events. >The good. Even though our old office had 1/3 more desks the building here has much more space. This might be because my firm was one of the first tenants but the facilities are what get you more bang for your buck. >The location. Being right next to Leadenhall market, the location is very much suited (pun intended) to financial and financial support businesses. I understand from the Huckletree team (more below) that their other locations are full of fizzing creative types that coalesce and conjugate constructively. >8 Bishopsgate A modern, still being fitted out, building with lots of showers and much bicycle parking. >The bad The rest of the building (not Huckletree) is in the process of being finalised and as new tenants there are inevitable snags that have to be overcome. I don't mind these, but some might. Finding the snags in the Huckletree fit-out have enabled a better understanding of relative expectations so not an issue for me, but as I say it may be for others. Visitors have to be signed in twice. Once into the building and then into Huckletree. It takes a little bit of getting used to. >The curious As is the nature of all offices that have some portion of shared space you will always find the guy/girl who doesn't know how to have a video call in such an environment. I still don't know why there is so much jade or the lanyards they give you are so short. >The team Resolutely customer focussed, available, friendly and approachable. At the time of writing Tom & Ewan (who I think come as a metric unit) are the most visible. Lou is lovely. Marica keeps them all ship shape. I'm sure however that when you read this some of this team might have moved to other Huckletree offices as there are sometimes new team members assisting tenants. >Misc. Definitely ask Tom about skiing or south east London comedians as his friends. Don't ask Lou about her commute or generic muscle tightness. Ewan will keep you up to date about Italy and fine leather. >End I trust you are happy now Huckletree team? Thanks for looking after us. Can you make the lanyards longer now? And yes there is a TREE within the office.
