Havel Space isn't your average desk-and-Wi-Fi setup. Housed in a former bank building on Brandenburg an der Havel's pedestrianised Hauptstraße, it carries real character — including a vault that's been cleverly repurposed as a phone booth. The atmosphere is relaxed and human-scale, drawing freelancers, startups, and locals who'd rather work somewhere with soul than somewhere sterile. Every desk comes with a monitor and docking station included, and members enjoy 24/7 access — so whether you do your best thinking at 7 a.m. or midnight, the door is open. Coffee, water, and tea are part of the deal too. Beyond the workday, Havel Space anchors a genuine local community: regular workshops, networking evenings, and exhibitions make it a place to belong, not just to bill hours. Residents of Brandenburg an der Havel can book a free Probetag — a no-commitment trial day — directly at havelspace.de/book/probetag.
56 Hauptstraße, 14776, Brandenburg an der Havel, Germany
Havel Space sits on the pedestrianised Hauptstraße in the heart of Brandenburg an der Havel — one of the city's main shopping and strolling streets. Just a few steps away, the River Havel runs alongside a scenic riverside promenade, making a lunchtime walk genuinely restorative rather than an afterthought. The surrounding block is well-served by cafés and restaurants, so you won't have to go far for coffee or a proper meal. Getting here is straightforward: a tram stop sits directly outside the building, with an 8-minute ride to Brandenburg Hauptbahnhof. The wider city centre is easily walkable from the door. For those arriving by car, public parking is available nearby, including free spots designated for electric vehicles. Cyclists are welcome too — the space is noted by members as bike-friendly.
The venue is located at Hauptstraße 56, 14776 Brandenburg an der Havel, in a pedestrian zone (Fußgängerzone). A tram stop is directly next to the building, with an 8-minute ride to Brandenburg Hauptbahnhof. Public parking is available in the surrounding area, including free parking spots for electric vehicles. The separate event space "Satellit" is located at Grabenstraße 21, nearby.

I spent a trial day at Havelspace because I'd like to outsource some of my computer work. Havelspace is a great place for freelancers, and I really liked the atmosphere. I'm going to treat myself to a 10-day pass :) Thanks for the opportunity, Rick!

A great place to work – whether you lack the space at home or are feeling cooped up. A focused yet relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of room for casual conversation. Very flexible packages and fair prices. Plus, it's right in the city center. It doesn't get any better than this.

There's no better place to work in the city center! I'm a regular here, I have my own table, coffee, water, and tea are included, and the atmosphere is perfect for focused work any time of day or night. It doesn't take much to welcome clients, except for a quick appointment with Rick (the owner).

An excellent alternative to working from home: The perfect place to welcome clients or partners in a professional environment, and accessible to coworkers 24/7. Oh, and it's also bike-friendly.

Great atmosphere and people. They have a Podcast room and other technical supplies.
