On Tuesday evening, November 14, 2023, I had the opportunity to take part in an interesting event organized by the Zwickau Economic Council. This took place in the impressive surroundings of a renovated old villa with historic cellar vaults, the headquarters of Wilhelminian style Zwickau. The atmosphere was unique and provided an exciting setting for the event. As soon as I entered the venue, which I reached through an atmospheric courtyard, I was warmly greeted by a member of the Economic Council.

The event started with a round of introductions, which offered a good opportunity to get an overview of those present. Particularly noteworthy is the inspiring short lecture by Martin Zielinski, head of the online marketing agency Digital Vorwärts. His remarks were informative and concise. I find the concept behind Gründerzeit Zwickau extremely praiseworthy and significant for the local start-up scene.

Even though I didn't initially feel fully integrated into the action, which may have been partly due to my personal preferences and handicaps, the overall experience was enriching. The event provided a platform for exchanging ideas and perspectives, which I really appreciated.

Overall, it was an event I would recommend to others, especially those interested in the local economy and networking. It was an opportunity to meet interesting people and gain insights into Zwickau's startup scene. Despite the initial challenges, I appreciate the opportunity to take part in such an event and am grateful for the experiences I was able to gain.
