Base Professional is a business centre on the mezzanine floor of Carrer de la Marina 148–150 in the Eixample that rents fully equipped private offices, meeting rooms and virtual-office services. Offices start at €250 a month and are ready to work in from the first day: each comes with a desk, a reclining chair, visitor chairs and a cupboard, and the rent covers personalised call answering and visitor reception, a registered and commercial address, Wi-Fi and cable internet, an optional email address, eight hours a month in the board room, air conditioning, electricity, water, maintenance, cleaning and a connection to an alarm centre. There is a phone in every office, a rest area with coffee, tea, a fridge and a microwave, printing, and access 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with a video-monitored alarm; the centre is accessible for people with disabilities. Two meeting rooms can be booked on their own: Sala 4 (20 m², eight people) at €15 an hour or €71 a day, and Sala 14 (8 m², four people) at €14 an hour or €64 a day, both plus VAT. Virtual offices start at €39 a month for a tax address, and the team can also manage your calls and appointment diary from €49 a month plus VAT. Base Professional is on Carrer de la Marina in the eastern Eixample, a short walk from Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes and the Monumental, the former bullring that gives the nearby metro station its name. Marina (L1) and Monumental (L2) metro stations are both a few minutes away on foot, Rodalies lines R1, R2N, R4, R7 and RG1 serve the area, and buses run along Gran Via and the surrounding streets. The Parc de l'Estació del Nord, Plaça de les Glòries with its shopping centre and design museum, and the Sagrada Família, about a kilometre up Carrer de la Marina, are all close by, and the blocks around the centre mix offices and homes with shops, cafés and neighbourhood restaurants.
