Tucked into a detached house with a garden at 14 Kemenes utca, Baobab Coworking Oasis is one of Budapest's most distinctive small coworking spaces — and its perfect 5-star rating reflects exactly that. The space is thoughtfully divided into focused work zones, flexible sit-stand desks, and a private meeting room, so whether you're deep in a deadline or running a client call, there's a spot that fits. What sets it apart is the personality: think chess, darts, a Rubik's cube, a didgeridoo, and even some training equipment scattered around — plus Mango, the resident mascot. The owner Graham is known for being genuinely welcoming, from helping arrange outdoor meetings to making first-time visitors feel immediately at home. A free trial day lets you experience the calm, focused atmosphere before committing. Popular with freelancers, remote workers, and early-stage startups who want a workspace with real character rather than corporate polish.
14 Kemenes utca, 1114, Budapest, Hungary
Baobab Coworking Oasis sits on Kemenes utca in the 11th district, a quieter residential pocket on the Buda side of the city that trades central bustle for leafy streets and a noticeably calmer pace. The nearest transit hub is Szent Gellért tér-Műegyetem, served by tram lines running along the Danube embankment and connecting quickly to the rest of Budapest — making it straightforward to reach from both the city centre and the university district. The Budapest University of Technology and Economics is just minutes away, which gives the neighbourhood a steady creative and academic energy without the noise. The surrounding streets have cafés and everyday amenities within easy walking distance, making a lunch break or a between-meetings coffee run entirely effortless. For anyone working on the Buda side or commuting in from the south, the location is genuinely convenient without feeling like a compromise.
The space is located at Kemenes utca 14, 1114 Budapest, on the ground floor (door 2). Enter through the front door of the building — reception is on-site during opening hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00–18:00) to welcome guests. The address is in the 11th district on the Buda side. Bicycle access is encouraged; a shower is available on-site for cyclists.

Had a truly great experience at Baobab Coverking Office! I came for a free trial day and ended up staying the whole day — the atmosphere was so calm and welcoming. The owner was incredibly kind and open, and everything was perfectly set up. What made it really special for me was that I had meaningful conversations with people there, and I honestly learned a lot in just one day. I gained valuable insights that saved me time and energy — which is something you don’t get everywhere. I’m really glad I got to be part of this community, even for a day, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend it to anyone who’s not only looking for a great place to work, but also to grow.🌿💡📈

The ideal work environment. Great place to socialize, focus on work, or just do your everyday job in a friendly atmosphere. Special thanks to Graham for helping to make the outdoor meeting possible! Honestly, I would love to work from here every day.

Great co-working space. Good location and relaxed atmosphere. Excellent facilities and private meeting space if needed. Was made to feel very welcome, will definitely return next time I’m working in Budapest.

Love it. I like the non-traditional, IT sector-type of office. This looks just like that. Mango is very cute, the owner is friendly. They have a few training equipment, chess, darts, rubik cube, and digeridoos either. It has all you need. Only improvement possibilities I see: more lifting tables and more light (even if it's artificial).

I recently had the pleasure of working at a fantastic coworking space that truly caters to every need. The space is thoughtfully divided into several zones, including a meeting room and flexible desks where you can sit or stand as you prefer. There are cozy chairs and sofas by the windows, perfect for enjoying a lovely view while working. Additionally, several desks come equipped with monitors for easy laptop connection. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, with amenities like a tea and coffee station and a microwave for heating your meals. For those who prefer dining out, a variety of cafes and restaurants are just a five-minute walk away. The location is incredibly convenient, only a three-minute walk from the metro station. This coworking space combines functionality, comfort, and convenience beautifully.
