AfricaWorks Cape Town occupies the top four floors of Touchstone House, where a contemporary African design language — woven chairs, carved stools and a bold graffiti lounge — sets the tone across hot desks, dedicated desks and serviced private offices. Members describe a calm, focus-friendly floor balanced by an easy sense of community: free Zoom booths and bookable meeting rooms mean you are never scrambling for a private spot, while an in-house café serves barista coffee and a morning breakfast menu. A wide sun terrace runs along the building, giving you somewhere to take a call, eat lunch or catch the afternoon light over the city. It suits SMEs, entrepreneurs, remote employees and digital nomads who want a professional base with 24/7 access, regular networking evenings and a team that — by repeated review — makes you feel welcome from day one.

7 Bree Street, Touchstone House (11th–14th floor), 8001, Cape Town, South Africa
Touchstone House sits on Bree Street in the heart of Cape Town's City Centre (the CBD), one of the most walkable corners of the city. Cape Town Station is roughly an eight-minute walk away, and MyCiTi bus stops around Thibault Square and Riebeeck Street are only a couple of minutes from the door, making car-free commuting straightforward. The immediate blocks are dense with coffee — Cookie Co is a minute up Bree Street and Seattle Coffee Company sits around the corner on Loop Street — alongside the restaurants and bars that have made Bree and Loop Streets a Cape Town dining destination. Long Street's shops and the 14 on Long centre are a short stroll for everyday errands, and the Company's Garden, the V&A Waterfront and the Foreshore are all within easy reach for lunchtime breaks or after-work plans.
AfricaWorks occupies the 11th to 14th floors of Touchstone House at 7 Bree Street. Enter through the building's ground-floor lobby on Bree Street, check in at the AfricaWorks reception, and take the lifts to the 11th floor. Reception is staffed Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm; members have 24/7 access. Paid parking is available in nearby city parkades and on surrounding streets, and the venue is a short walk from Cape Town Station and central MyCiTi bus stops.
A hot desk at AfricaWorks Cape Town starts at around R2,500 per month (about €133), with dedicated desks from roughly R3,500 (about €186) and serviced private offices from about R3,750 per person per month. All plans include high-speed Wi-Fi, the in-house café and access to meeting rooms.

During my 1.5 months in Cape Town, I lived in different locations and worked in three coworking spaces. I worked in this one for 10 days. I want to say that it's definitely the best of all the ones I've visited in South Africa and one of the best in the world (especially in terms of price-quality ratio). It has a large space, a beautiful balcony with excellent views, and there are always available rooms for calls. The staff is always eager to help. Tameron, the employee, was friendly and helpful with my questions. I recommend it. I would recommend the coworking space to allow access via QR codes to make it easier to get to the rooms upstairs and downstairs.
