Westbourne Studios is a Workspace® building at 242 Acklam Road in Portobello, W10, tucked directly under the Westway – part of the elevated road actually forms the building's roof. The site was once a well-known music venue and recording studio and now holds studio, workshop and office space. Workspace lets unfurnished private offices and studios here that your business fits out and brands itself, on flexible agreements; prices are on request. The heart of the building is a large atrium with lounge areas, concrete floors, Crittall windows and an airy warehouse feel, and the meeting rooms still show original graffiti from the Westway underpass. Acklam 242 Café, set in a converted shipping container, serves breakfast, lunch, salads, smoothies and barista coffee, with booth seating around it. You also get phone booths, a staffed reception, a passenger lift, showers, cycle racks, parking, loading bays, print and copy facilities and 24-hour access. Two meeting rooms seat up to 10 people each. Westbourne Park station is a five-minute walk away.
