## About

Second Home Mercado sits on the first floor of Lisbon's iconic Mercado de Ribeira — better known as the Time Out Market — turning one of the city's most storied buildings into a genuinely design-led workspace. Conceived by Spanish architecture practice Selgas Cano and part of the internationally acclaimed Second Home brand, the space is filled with natural light, over a thousand living plants, and an eclectic collection of mid-century furniture that makes every desk feel considered rather than corporate. The community here leans toward freelancers, local startups, and creative professionals who actually put down roots in Lisbon — not a transient drop-in crowd. Members get access to meeting rooms, a reception desk, free coffee, event spaces, and high-speed Wi-Fi, all steps from the Tagus riverfront. On Fridays, happy hour and live music turn the workday into something worth staying for. Step-free access and a lift make the space fully accessible.
