## About

Lokaal 215 is a small, quiet coworking space in Amsterdam-Oost where freelancers and independent professionals rent their own fixed desk by the month. It sits at Bataviastraat 24 in the lively Indische Buurt, within walking distance of the Javastraat for lunch and groceries and of Amsterdam Muiderpoort station. The space has six workplaces in total, three of them currently available, in a bright room with large windows, wooden floors, plenty of plants and a kitchen island with bar stools. It is plug and play: bring your laptop and start working, with fast internet over Wi-Fi and cable, fresh coffee and tea, printing, a separate room for meetings and video calls, and 24/7 access. A desk costs €275 a month with no hidden costs and no complicated contracts; desks are rented by the month only, not by the day. Members share knowledge, have lunch together and end the week with Friday afternoon drinks. You can book a free trial day to experience the space before you commit.
