## About

Step inside a converted locomotive hall and you'll immediately get it — Grünhof Kreativpark Lokhalle isn't your standard coworking space. Spread across 1,600 m² of industrial heritage, the space pairs exposed steel and century-old brickwork with 21 private offices built inside upcycled shipping containers, giving even team meetings a quietly cinematic feel. Forty-five flex desks and 16 fixed desks fill the open floor, alongside phone booths, a lounge, adjustable-height desks, and the kind of high-speed Wi-Fi that actually holds up during video calls. With 600+ members — heavily freelancers, startups, and green-economy pioneers — Grünhof has quietly become one of southern Germany's most purposeful work communities. By night, the 150-person stage flips the hall into an event, film, or photo location. One membership also unlocks Grünhof's second Freiburg location on Augustinerplatz. And if you're on the fence? Try it first — every Wednesday is a free trial day, no strings attached.
