Espacio U (Espacio Ucrania) is a small creative coworking and event space in a ground-floor premises at Calle de Martín de los Heros 52, in Argüelles near Plaza de España. Its members come mostly from independent creative work: architects and urban designers, graphic designers and illustrators, audiovisual producers, art directors, journalists and social media specialists, cultural managers and curators, IT consultants and a few NGOs. It rents single desks and team islands of four for small companies, with tables 1.5 or 2 metres wide. The heart of the space is a 45 m² main hall with a double-height ceiling, a wall for projections and natural light, used for events, exhibitions, screenings, talks, presentations and cocktails, and there are three meeting rooms of 7, 9 and 20 m². A portable high-resolution projector and a white screen are available, there is a shared printer, and pets are welcome.
