Housed inside the historic Steinfels soap factory in Kreis 5, the 1,500+ m² loft spans multiple floors and distinct spaces: open startup floors buzzing with founders, quieter rooms for focused work, and a character-rich lounge anchored by Vitra furniture, vintage tavern tables, and an Elektra barista espresso machine. The "Design meets Retro" aesthetic isn't a tagline — it's something you feel the moment you walk in. Freelancers and startups have been calling this place home for over 15 years, which gives the community a relaxed, genuinely welcoming depth that newer spaces take time to build. Plans range from CHF 29/day drop-in passes to 24/7 fixed-desk memberships, and curious newcomers can book a free trial day before committing. Ergonomic furniture, high-speed Wi-Fi, meeting rooms, and full reception support keep the workday running smoothly. ## Starting prices Starting list prices, checked 2026-09-24. - Day passes: from €26.68 per day - Meeting rooms: from CHF 90 per hour ## Opening hours - Monday: 09:00–18:00 - Tuesday: 09:00–18:00 - Wednesday: 09:00–18:00 - Thursday: 09:00–18:00 - Friday: 09:00–18:00 ## Amenities Lounge Area, Printer & Copier/Scanner, Lifts, Highspeed Wifi, Barista, Reception Desk, Projector, Ergonomic Furniture, Fully Furnished, Snacks, Meeting Rooms, Free Coffee, Fitness Facilities, Event Spaces, Cafeteria, Conference Room, Quiet Areas, Free Water, Community Events, 24/7 Access (Members) ## FAQ ### Can I try Citizen Space before committing to a membership?
